I have seen the clip myself and it does sound harsh and judgemental, but he has completely removed the content from the context. I personally watched the video of this pastor calling women whores who wear makeup and paint their nails. A whore is someone who has sex with many persons, so how does putting on makeup mean that you will be having sex with many people? The fact that people believe that everyone is set in stone and cannot change is completely against what Christianity is supposed to be about, which is change and forgiveness. Sinners are in the church, and you are supposed to invite more of them if you are trying to help them change for God. He’s called himself an Apostle (maybe not a prophet) which is just as bad bc there are no modern day Apostles. Gino really has some baaaaaad theology but to some degree I agree about proper dress of women. They take it to an extreme but I get it. I still don’t see anything wrong with a woman painting her nails, maybe go to a salon from time to time. The scriptures talks about ostentatious flaunting. I wear cheap silver pearl earrings. Nothing gaudy, just simple. But if others choose to remove all jewelry, that’s fine. And this man is right, Jews did wear jewelry. This man is wrong about Christianity but is right about the treatment he received in the church. Gino really didn’t seem to handle this well. And this man doesn’t understand the issues of fornication and the proverbs about women. This was just a mess altogether.
