Outputing straight to the camera would surely mean a long cable to the camera. And from what I can tell the camera is reasonably far away seeing as people walk in front of it. Also, I would suspect that the loop station would have higher quality recording capacity seeing as it effectively records to do the looping. And the extremely high quality post-youtube uploading baffles me just as much as you. I'm still trying to work out the best way for me. =D

The only idea I have in regards to how they got it to sound so good on youtube is they uploaded it at the exact same compression rate and file format that youtube uses to there wouldn't be any secondary compression.
