Great video. This will be of documentary value in many years to come. Last time I walked here was in 1986, my god what a change. No Woolworths or large department stores left on the road. It is certainly still a lively place by the looks of it. I wonder what it's like at night?

Good community but crime is rampant in Peckham my brother was shot in queens road and I have been mugged 3 times just off rye lane. As a tourist I would tell you to avoid it at night as crime is high especially with the young black youths in the area (I'm black myself)

I've been leavin next to rye l'âne on 91to94 me estate not there any more miss thé red bull pub.the only fight i had was in pub in old Kent road nous matter i was drunk.

The last time I was in Rye Lane Marks and Spencer shop had a sign in the window saying "This branch has been closed because of theft". It was about 17 years or more ago.
