✓ The man who is more Indian than a Desi Indian!!!
We've been wanting to catch up with this legendary "Angrezi (English अन्ग्रेजी) Jhal Muri Wallah" for several years now - so what an honour to finally meet the man himself; Mr Angus Denoon; a man inspired by the beautiful city of Kolkata & the pavement kitchens that provide sustenance for its many inhabitants with the cheapest and tastiest of freshly made food anywhere. Not to mention the street characters creating food that is blessed by hand and human touch & further energised and charged by positive thoughts.
He serves up the popular spicy Bengali snack at a street cart called "Everybody Love Love Jhal Muri Express" at various locations.
He is a "street food troubadour" so if you want to know where he will be next, look out for messages of his schedule on his social media pages (or you could message him).
Twitter: jhalmuriexpress
or Facebook page: jhalmuriexpress
Here's a link to his KZbin Channel: / uhrangus
Website: streetfoodkolkata.com
He is a filmmaker & you can watch a moving video of his on KZbin titled simply "Kolkata Street Food": • Kolkata Street Food - in which he articulates beautifully his street food experience, the words he speaks touch a nerve deep within our very soul.
A special thank you to Angus who very much welcomed us and graciously allowed us a privileged glimpse into his "street food kitchen" to do the videoing.
God Bless You Sir !!!
