TYPE O NEGATIVE FULL LIVE BIZARRE FESTIVAL TV VERSION SHOW GERMANY HD 1999
The DVD was recorded on Sunday August 22, 1999, at the 12th Bizarre Festival in Cologne, Germany. This gig was originally recorded for a German live-in-concert program, WDR Rockpalast, and broadcast on German television. The band bought the live footage because it seemed to be the best one available to date regardless of the previous TV releases. Twelve cameras were used. The DVD does not have the performances of the cover songs "Back in the USSR" and "Day Tripper Medley" that were part of the live show and TV broadcast.

I was still a bit too young and far from any cities so I never got the chance to see them. TON was the only band that actually got me excited in anticipation when they announced a new album was coming... because they never disappointed me. October Rust is my favorite TON album. You listen to it with the lights out, good headphones and man, it takes you places. RIP Green Man, there's no TON without him and they are all sorely missed.

I am so happy to read all these comments. You can´t find so many bands, where people would give them so much love and appreciation in comment section. God hell Pete died. They would be on the top now again. There are so many young people who love to listen them and never even see them live. Me neither. What a band. What a legend.

Yup... it always warms my heart to see younger generations getting into the classics! It reminds me of when I was a teen in the 90s (around the time I got into Type O, actually) and first discovering Pink Floyd and The Doors for myself.

@@DOWNPOUR_ Their tone in general is on point. You can tell they play like they mean it and with passion. They also know what works and doesn't work and they ensure to get important nuances in there that really add a lot to the song and experience.
