Consistent is superior to Optimal
Play to grow, not to win
Space-Control beats Combos/Setups
Use every possible weapon in a character’s arsenal
Capitalize on opponents’ mistakes while minimizing your own
Adapt or lose - spam only defeats the unprepared or the inflexible
Have a gameplan, but be prepared to abandon it at any time for a better one
Grant the opponent every opportunity to err - and be ready to punish them for it
All knowledge is power - know yours and your opponent’s frame data and gameplan

I'm a Street fighter player also and I have some Daigo's words as a gospel... *Learn only ONE thing each time *... This one thing might be block, attack, mc ducking, bnb combos, spacing...etc. Each time might be an hour, a day, a week... but the importance of this one thing is to learn it, not just to understand it. And always remember.... opponent is evolving too, not just you. The moment you learned something, your opponents learned the same or something else or more than you. Don't let this discourage you. Don't rush to learn more. One step. I hope this will help a lot of you

Dude yes! "Your opponent is evolving too" Extremely true 💯 I have some people I coach that get frustrated when they keep losing and tell me "Musha I'm not getting any better!", but I have to remind them "you are! It's just that so am I" Don't worry about win/loss, worry about learning more each time 🤘🏻

@@MushaFGCTrue... for example...when i was 16 i used to play SSF2 on snes with a class mate. No internet back then, local versus only. When i was losing, i was getting prepared next week to overcome my weakness and my flaws. When i had the upper hand, he did the same. Preparation and... he got the upper hand. And vice versa. Einstein said... you cannot always do the same thing and expect different results. If my win/loss rating is 5/100 for example, but all the matches is against SonicFox, Ninjakilla, Foxy.. etc? Who's better? Me or some random casual with a 100/70 win/loss? Higher challenge is evolution

I'd like to see a video based on microducking and other defensive neutral options besides just high, low, and up blocking. I've only recently seen how low neutral and low block changes your hitbox, and I was curious about how you approach it. I'm down to run some sets and online practice this weekend if you're available.
