for the Gleeok fight: have a bunch of shields in your inventory with rockets already fused to them. Get all your shield rockets for free by fusing every rocket you come across with an open shield in your inventory (save a couple unfused for regular use). If you've got a good sized shield inventory, you can have free rocket-shield combos ready to use all the time.

When working with the rock octorocs: if you have your recall power at the ready, you can activate it at the weapon while it’s in the air after being spit out. The weapon will fly right back to the octoroc and kill it, saving you the effort of dodging and the bomb arrow trying to kill it yourself 8:03

Why would you want to kill them, though? Do they stop repairing your stuff until they respawn in the Blood Moon?

@@VGamingJunkieVT Yes. They can only do one repair. Then they need to be defeated. Then they come back after a blood moon and then they can repair again. Repeat this cycle.

Yes. Its one repair per octoroc per blood moon. Or so I've heard repeatedly. As the first time I heard about this mechanic included a "make sure you kill it" stipulation for this reason, I haven't tested it myself.@@VGamingJunkieVT

Thank you for the good tips. Here are two major tips that were not in the video. 1. Pristine weapons, don't save your decayed weapons. Breaking them will cause the perfect version to spawn on the shadow statues in the depths after a blood moon. 2. Want the fifth sage? If you go to The bottom of Riola Spring, it's where the lightning dragon would come out in Botw. Look for a falling 🪨 and use recall to go to dragonhead Island. (Note) you must have 10 hearts to open the door. 🎉😂

I honestly don't pay much attention to Sun Pumpkins, since Sundelions naturally heal 3 gloom damaged hearts each, and they're easy to find on Sky Islands if you have the patience to go and collect them. They're also available in places scattered around the map on the surface. There's even a special story related place that has Sundelions, but I won't spoil that. Finally, Yiga footsoldiers in the Depths and every random Yiga I've encountered on the surface (after completing a certain storyline) has a chance to drop one Sundelion.

You may already know this - but in any area that requires doing a little roller coaster action (like over many of the lava pits), you can use Mineru instead of a cart - she just walks right on top of all of the railing, giving you much better control when needed.

I didn't know that. So Mineru just kind of sticks to the top of the railing and stays balanced on it? Similar to a cart? 🤯 🤯 Nice one. I will have to give that a try one day! 🤯 🤯

As a 90s kid who grew up with the early 3D Zelda games (Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask) dominating the franchise's pop-cultural image at the time, the Cap, Tunic, and Trousers of time are my favorite BotW & TotK outfit due to the nostalgia. It makes me feel like I'm adventuring through this new Hyrule with an old friend, especially once I've gotten the Mater Sword & Hylian Shield to complete the look. I also like how it's one of the only versions of Link's iconic tunic to feature a collar. That may not be as accurate to the medieval fantasy aesthetic the series is historically known for, but I think it makes our hero look sharp. I love the Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword tunics as well, but Ocarina of Time edges them out.

There are 6 Rock Octorocks around the ring that Mamosik shrine is on. Very handy. There are about 6 more scattered about that I know of. Those first 6 are super easy and quick to hit at nighttime with speed up armor boost!

The whole area of Eldin is absolutely CRAWLING with Rock Octoroks. I count like 20 that I've found and marked on my map. The ones along the canyon where Momosik is are definitely the easiest and most convenient to get to though, since they're basically all along the path around the base of Death Mountain.

On Tip #8 if you don't collect the Keese parts between killing a group, they'll likely despawn because only 21 items can be dropped at the same time. So shoot, collect everything that drops and then shoot again :D

Another tip I got elsewhere: when you come across a yellow sparkly ore deposit save before you destroy it. Then destroy it, see if you get a diamond, and if not revert to your save. Keep destroying the ore deposit/reverting to the save until a diamond comes out.

On the octorock repair, i use recall on weapons to send it back to kill the octo rock after it has repaired the item. Saves wear on your shields.

For tip #4. 2 sundelion's and any 3 items that gives you 1 heart raw/uncooked gets you +6 gloom recovery and hearts. Being slightly more optimal than a full sun pumpkin dish.

If sun pumpkins function like sundelions, and give a set amount of gloom recovery per pumpkin. Then there's probably an even slightly more optimal food for gloom recovery. But I have no need to figure it out, since I have beaten most of the game at this point.

Tips for the tips 1.) Use the sensor + or Floating Coliseum 2.) No tips, it's good 3.) Shield surfing with a wing shield 4.) Shield surf over the gloom 5.) No tips, its good (Tip on gloomspawn though; you can just use a few rubies and they'll die, use the same start on Phantom Ganny too) 6.) JUST COOK EXTRA FOOD BEFORE (Other than that the switch between is pretty useful since people might not notice it.) 7.) Yea.. (But duping is so much faster) (It's personal preference though if you want to farm or dupe) 8.) Yeah this is good (TONS OF CAVES HAVE THESE POOR KEESE LOL) 9.) Yeah this is good` 10.) This is correct but nobody does this (I think) 11.) This is useful but unless you're trying to 100% this is kinda useless 12.) Oh dear god so many mistakes here (except for turning off the sages, killing after and saving for better buffs, good job on that) I will point out the mistakes made 1.) The weapon is actually repaired on the first chew if the octorock 2.) Double repairing only gives the base weapon the buff and not the secondary one 3.) Just dupe legendary weapons, it's too expensive to constantly spend 20 rupees to repair every time its badly damaged 13.) Good tip unless you want to actually have fun trying to beat shrines the intended way 14.) Thu muddle but and puffshroom one are valid but the bomb flowers can be easily farmed using majora's mask, bokoblins, and homing carts 15.) Use the Savage Lynel Bow with Five-Shot Burst, you only need to shoot one to two times and use 1-2 material and 1-2 durability (Once again just use a wing shield for bullet time)

One thing you could do with the rocket shield to get airtime during a Gleeock or other boss battle would be to just attach a rocket to more than one of your shields, that way when you need another airtime boost, all you would have to do is just switch to another shield in your inventory with a rocket attached.

Tip 4, 5, 7, 9 and 15 are basically: do the thing in the intended way. No outside knowledge required. Octoroc repair is intended, but it isn't explicitly told (at least not to my knowledge). The rust removal is told, though. What I have missed in my play is the dazzle fruit vs stal interaction.

Here are 3 more tips: ice deals massive damage to the fire heads of gleeoks, fire deals massive damage to the head of ice gleeoks and it's not specific to the elemental gleeoks, It also world with the heads of the King gleok. Also, you really need only one puffshroom. You can attach It to a kolog weapon (i like the spear) and instead of breaking the shroom It Will unpower It andcit will charge black Up not long after, once there's a Big cloud of smoke just switch to any weapon and do a critical backstab. The same applies with the other flowers or elemental fruits and also the light ones. I usually Carry a shroom and a flash fruit inca spear. Combine with the masks (specially useful with the majora's masks) or any power Up (bone proficiency + attack Up) and you can deal with most Monsters in one shot. Specially useful when dealing with bokoblin groups with the respective Big bokoblin or when in the underworld. You can fuse any material to a shield, but if you fuse an elemental crystal (the ones you get from the deagons, not a horn, a stone) you built yourself a hammer that breaks ores, if you do it with the hylian shield you got yourself an almost unbreakable hammer that one-hits all nodes.
