@tisjester
@tisjester Жыл бұрын
Yes many parts to this are missing, but those parts do not make for a good story. 1) he dyed his hair and stayed out of sight - so no real looks at the guy. 2) Oh they figured out with DNA it was not him 3) The child assault allegedly happened 8 years previous when Clay was 16. They had zero evidence. They pressured Clay into that plea agreement. 4) The massive sentence was not for the fraud. They revoked his 20 year suspended sentence on the plea agreement, and all the other crimes involved. insurance fraud, arson, and desecration of a cemetery.

30 days for pedophelia, but 30 years for insurance fraud?!?! Wtf is wrong with the justice system?! 😤
@cereliaadduci9438
@cereliaadduci9438 Жыл бұрын
I did some research 1, the 30 years prison sentence was for arson, insurance fraud, desecration of a cemetery and was given an additional 20 years for violating his probation. This means that the initial sentencing for violating a 7 year old was probation, only probation, if he had just violated his probation by missing a meeting, he would have only gone to jail for the 30 days immediately, the judge added 20 years because of the lengths he went to to avoid the 30 day sentence. The initial sentence was still only 30 days if he violated his probation. It was never 20 years for violating a child. 2 a suspended sentence means he was found guilty but was given a delayed prison sentence and put on probation and the judge will generally dismiss the case and not force the accused to serve the prison sentence if the comply with the probation, which makes this 10 times worse in my opinion. 3 I believe pedophiles deserve the death penalty and the fact that he was initially given a suspended sentence makes my blood boil. Probation for ruining a child’s life and robbing them of their innocence, but 30 years for faking his own death and insurance fraud in which no one actually got hurt 😤 that’s not justice and you can’t change my mind.

Well now are you not one to not look at all the facts lol.. The why is because that is not what happened. the alleged child assault was 8 years previous (when Clay was 16) and they had zero evidence. Nothing is wrong with the justice system on this one IF you know the facts. Also the almost life-sentence was due to the revocation of the suspended sentence on the sexual assault plea. He was never convicted of sexual assault. They had no evidence so they pressured him into taking a plea deal.

I have a friend and co worker who is also a dog trainer. About 4 years ago, we got into this debate because she said something similar as you did. Now I LOVE dogs. but, my argument was why should we choose? Why can't we love dogs AND humans? I have recently apologized and told her that she was right. I never ever thought I would be saying this. I wish I could talk to myself in the past. But these past years, I have went from an extrovert to an introvert. I just want a dog and that is it. I am so done with people and the ignorance of today.

I mean, 40 miles wouldn’t take 7 hours!! @@Cyphon I said there is more to the story. They had no proof of the rape. IF they did then they would have been able to convict him and not pushed him into the plea deal. It does matter how old he was and how long ago it happened when it comes to the ability to charge and convict someone. There is much more to the story and once you know all of it you would understand why it worked out how it did. He was never convicted of rape - he took a plea deal to avoid going to trial. This was more about people having issues with the 30 days.. It was not 30 days for being convicted of sexual assault. It was 30 days and a 20 year suspended sentence in the plea deal because they had no hard evidence. - That 20 years suspension was revoked - so in the end he got the 20 years added to the rest of it.

The elderly woman, whose corpse they used to fake his death, was deathly afraid of fire. In the time before her death, she strictly asked her caretakers NOT to cremate her and bury her instead. And Clay randomly used her for this. It’s so tragic, but luckily she’s back in her grave now.
