It's just ruZZia. To get a life sentence he'd have to insult their dictator. They have a saying (supposedly coined by Stalin) „Ludiei u nas mnogo", which means "We have plenty of people", meaning human life is expendable and not worth a dime.

One crime was stupidity, arrogance, and negligence that led to an unintentional mass-casualty incident. The other was unhinged, possessive, primitive rage that led to an intentional murder and the intentional traumatization of another person, because this dude couldn't just cut his losses and walk away from both people with dignity. One of these cannot be allowed to walk the streets again, not even in broad daylight, because he clearly can't be relied upon to consistently act like a human being instead of a chimp in heat. The other simply shouldn't be allowed to drive or pilot any form of mass transportation ever again.

I actually grew up hearing the story of Stephen and Gregory. My dad and uncle were both stationed at Sickles in Fluda when this happened. My uncle talked about how he had actually met one of them in passing a few days before the incident happened. The scariest part to me was when he set the head down infront of her he said something along the lines of “here you go now you and Greg can sleep together all you want. But I don’t think you will be sleeping much any more” It’s crazy that I’m 27 now and I’m watching a Mr. Ballen video about a story I heard as young as 5 or 6.

@@birdflipper I remembered hearing this story told by another youtuber some time ago, and they mentioned it most likely being because the potatoes were exposed to sunlight. One day I noticed a stench coming out from that area, I thought it was the nearby garbage bag, but once I took it out it still smelled. I eventually found the potato and the smell didn’t leave me for hours. I have never smelled something so disgusting, it was horrific. On the 3rd story. I knew this story before you even told it. I was stationed at USDB Ft Leavenworth when inmate Schap arrived and was assigned to my detail. I do know you tried to make it family friendly by changing what he said to her when he pulled the head out, it was way more sinister than what you said. Plus you left out how many times he had to kick his head to get it off the body because his knife could not cut all the way through his spine. I read his trial transcript, as I did with all inmates being assigned to my detail. I enjoy your content and look forward to it every Sunday. I hope one day you will tell the story of Jackie Dacusin, a 13 y/o girl who was murdered at Ft Drum in 1992. It was a tragedy that I have never seen covered by anyone. I was unfortunately the MP who was dispatched to the area to locate her, as we thought that just maybe the person that reported it was lying, we were wrong.

My grandma raised her own potatoes in a co-op with a few other people. She also had a big cellar, so she stored some for people who didn’t have room. I never understood why she’d open all the windows in the house, open the cellar hatch, and we would go outside to do; what seemed to me at the time; useless little putting around for 15 minutes. Then she would go down with a burlap sack and get a bunch, after telling me to stay there and tell her a story. I didn’t realize at the time that the potatoes were the reason for all these precautions. When I wasn’t there, she’d get a neighbor or potato co-op member to come and shoot the town gossip while she gathered some. RIP Grandma. You were my favourite person!

What he did was obviously wrong but women need to stop acting like whores. Getting pregnant by someone other than your husband is despicable. Too many cheating pieces of garbage out here, and that goes for men and women. Is it really that hard to be faithful to the person you pledged your life to? If so, you shouldn't be married. Whores aren't meant to marry. They're meant to be passed around.

Women want a guy to go all in emotionally. When he does, that creates a responsibility for the woman not to do something that's going to annihilate him emotionally. A woman always has the right to end a relationship for any reason or no reason at all, but just as a man doesn't have the right to assault a woman, she shouldn't have the right to destroy him emotionally. That doesn't justify murder, but it does make it less surprising that it happened. Of course, the manner in which it happened was bat-shit crazy and made her leaving him look like a wise idea. The manner in which she did that however, makes her an evil, twisted bitch who deserves no sympathy whatsoever.

(I do love the 1 story vids too, it gives MrBallen more time to give more detail and information. 3 stories cheapens them individually IMO. At the same time not all of them need to be 25 mins each. It’s a balance and I don’t think one is necessarily Better than the other. Also in the beginning alot of Ballens content were famous strange/dark/mysterious stories already in story format. His best work that he seems most excited to do are stories HE basically is introducing to a wide audience that is lesser known. At the same time stories I’ve heard a million times like the bell witch were amazingly done so again I think it’s just a preference thing.

I am so very thankful that you have become a professional story teller. I love your content because I love the dark mysterious and creepy. I love much more that you are such a strong person to recognize issues within yourself and take care of them for yourself and your loved ones. Sometimes the toughest battle , the most difficult tour; is a struggle from within. I respect you immensely for being a good man. Most men, and actually people will not try to become the best they can. (Side note.. any seal who's but hurt about your success is a d bag) Massachusetts says hello. Peace brother. ✌ Thank you for your content.

The scariest thing to me about the second story, is something like this actually happened to me. We had this lazy Susan with potatoes that had gone bad in it. My mother asked me to clean it out, and as soon as I put my head down there, I started gagging, and had to back away. My mother was standing further back, and she thought I was gagging because of the smell. There was no smell, I just started gagging because there was no air, I couldn’t even breath.

Not rotten potato related, but I used to work at a crab shack a while back and the health inspector was supposed to be paying us a visit, and we used to keep the spoiled crabs (a few hundred pounds worth) in huge black contractor bags set into plastic bins in a walk in fridge outside the main building in an effort to slow the decomposition process. Well these things had started to rot and become "juicy", and when crabs rot they produce a lot of ammonia, well one of my jobs was to clean all of this mess as fast as I could, so I grabbed the bags and with help from my coworkers hurled them into the back of an old freezer truck we used primarily for that purpose, and then proceeded to hose everything down with a mix of bleach and water, and when I got to those bins is where I ran into problems. I had dumped all the brown liquid out into a grassy part behind the shop and started hosing out the bins with the bleach and water mixture, holding my breath as I did so, and when I got to the patch of grass with crab juice in it, this white smoke started to billow out of the ground there, and my eyes started to burn, which is when I decided I'd had enough. But yeah, always be wary of what you're mixing or other potential unseen dangers you could be facing because it could save your life.

Had a friend tell me that if you served atleast one tour in combat, it will take a minimum of 5 years before you feel like you have adjusted back to normal life. He was right, I did 3 tours in Iraq (Invasion, Sadr City, and Close out) and it took me 5 years to start feeling a sense of normalcy. This is crazy hearing the story about the military victim in Germany on this channel. My dad was stationed at Lakenheath in England at the time this happened and he knew a guy who knew the victim. I was in Germany when the last story happened. It was a pretty big deal. It made it so that any infidelity that came to the attention of the commander resulted in the non military spouse being sent back home to the states.

I think infidelity should be treated way harsher. I was locked up with people that had never committed crimes in their lives until they were cheated on because they were BORING. people or TOO DEVOTED. some people are so stupid they would ditch a devoted person for someone else. Unfortunately I did that to my ex girlfriend for my abusive ex wife. She was heart broken. I'm a woman so both men and women do it and it's so wrong. That woman I left was wonderful I was stupid for leaving her and there is no excuse for people to do that to good people

When I heard the first story, all I kept thinking, was please tell me there’s no one else in the plane. It just baffles me as to why so many justice systems are incredibly warped because if it was their own family members that this happened to, it would’ve been a different story, they would fight harder. And then you get people that are locked up for petty things that spend decades of their life in prison, meanwhile, murderers et cetera get the bare minimum.
@schwaaard
@schwaaard 6 ай бұрын
I always remind myself that these are “legal” systems, not “justice” systems. Satisfying the letter of the law is the priority, not delivering justice. I hate that it’s the case, but it helps temper my expectations when it comes to crime and punishment. Sometimes justice is achieved, or at least a ruling is fair, but I think most of the time the scales are left grossly imbalanced.
