I'd be right with you in that theory, but what keeps me holding back is that he went through it too. The way MrBallen tells these stories gets my heart pounding. He is indeed a warrior in my opinion. I served two tours as an officer in Vietnam and was wounded during both tours. @SNP-19993 жыл бұрын
@@Zorayah This story has so many red flags, it is beyond belief. That the father survived at all was more luck than judgement and maybe the son just couldn't go through with his plan after trying so hard to kill him "by accident" ? And it is pretty peculiar that photos were made after they had survived the ice flows - did the son just by chance hold onto his camera, under the ice ? Or was this story different to what we've been told ? If my father was hanging for his life on to a rock in the middle of a river, the last thing I would do is take a photo of him in this situation - or did the son think/ hope he was dead and wanted photographic proof of an "accident", but couldn't go through with his plan when he realised that his father was still alive ? It would be extremely interesting to know the son's financial situation and whether he was the beneficiary of his father's life insurance, or if he had other financial gains if his father died.

my dad is an extremely experienced white water rafter (he's worked as a guide through some of the highest level rapids in the world), and once he and my mom had us, the deal was made that he wouldn't go rafting at all anymore without a gps/emergency locating device, and he ESPECIALLY wouldn't be taking us without one. they're ridiculously cheap and definitely worth it. you never know what could happen, and even if you're extremely experienced, it's not worth the risk. these stories are full of extremely experienced people.

Yeah not all the stories in “I Shouldn’t Be Alive” series end up with everyone alive.
