This is not managers fault , the problems lie solely with Hobbs´s recruitment strategy and the lack of positive investment from the owners. Realistically 3/4 of this squad are just not good enough and those that do have the talent are not suitable to be playing in a team that lacks the depth of quality to allow them to thrive. Total reset required before we can move on, many criticised Forest for the sheer amount of signings when they came up but look at them now ! They´ve done the uninspiring work and can now look to build on that with top quality improvements that will actually make a difference.

On the whole, on this channel after a month under Pereira’s management, it seems that the support is largely with him. Realistically the team were never going to get points against better owned clubs in Newcastle, Forest and Chelsea over the past 2 weeks. Chelsea and Forest have spent millions bringing a massively amount of players into their teams, and then getting managers who can genuinely decide who is at Premier League level by selling them off. If Wolves don’t beat Arsenal and Villa at home over the next 11 days from today, they will go down. I cannot see Wolves getting 24 points from 42. They really need to beat both Arsenal and Villa and have 22 points before the play the rest of the lower placed clubs from mid February onwards. The Liverpool game on 16th February is a write off.
