The reason I had a hard time believing this is because I had watched so many videos of previous videos where contestants have said they got their meds and the staff was kind and attentive. The reason the people were saying she started drama, was because she could've handled that situation so much better. Like one, she didn't say anything for 2 years and didn't even try contacting him (jimmy) about the issue untill the she leaked the information. Secondly, the reason little to no one was on her side was because she placed 4th in the video and her actual score was 3rd (keep in mind, she would've won nothing if she got 3rd). So alot of people saw it as not that much of a big deal. Thirdly, she was also making insane claims like mrbeast was a "misogynist" claiming he cut her out of 3rd place cause he wanted three male creators to win (completely ignoring the youtuber quackity was also cut out of his actual score) now i don't think rosanna was in the wrong. She had every right to be upset, but she handled that situation like a child.

So this las vegas filming was technically "Episode 0" for the amazon show, it was the promotional video for the show that would be uploaded on mrbeasts channel, so I don't think amazon was actually very involved with the production if at all. Also many former employees were whistle blowing about terrible safety practices long before this event, look up the Time magazine piece "In The Belly of MrBeast". While at the company I heard many stories of people getting fired for raising safety concerns so this is not surprising. Also they originally wanted it to be 5000 people and dropped it to 2000 last second, allegedly ghosting some contestants / staff who were told to take the summer off for filming. I hope some leaked footage gets released, because it sounds insane.

Yes some were good deeds but then he's blowing up trucks, putting his editor in a room for days, etc. He's in his mid-20s and blew up fast for finding what worked best to get attention. I mentioned it as I’m someone who’s had to get eye surgery to save my vision before and it IS dehumanizing to have to choose between blindness or getting filmed doing a very vulnerable and emotional procedure. The ppl he helped HAD to be thankful or else they’d get either extreme backlash or go blind. Morally; I think that’s ignorant to ignore the nuance of the position that puts disabled ppl in. That’s the point I want to make. It was objectively nice ig but prioritizing his ‘good deed’ that makes him money over the comfort and safety of disabled ppl is a bit wild to me.
