He is truly a genius. The thing is that being a KZbinr is like a business, and he knows it pretty well. So if you want constant growth, views and subs, you need to give people what they want. And he does it amazingly well. Same like businessman offers products people need. Tough part could be starting your channel (and honestly for me the most helpful thing was that I found out that using a bit of Famester every day helps a lot for managing my channel. The best thing is that it also works for every other social media, so I am not only tied to KZbin.

He still makes money from premium, sorry for the title it was a little misleading, he doesn't exactly make a billion from ad revenue alone. He has generated over a billion in sales, if you look at his most recent podcast. But his company is worth well over a billion dollars, he revealed this on a podcast with Andrew Schulz a while back.
