Which yeast?

@@DerpDerpDerpDerp I've used WLP838 Southern German Lager Yeast. Was thinking of switching to WLP820 Oktoberfest/Märzen Lager Yeast in my next batch. Just to see what the differences are.

I like to make 12 gallon batches then split it up into 3 fermenters, with a different yeast in each. Next time I think I'll go even more diverse, maybe 6 - 2 gallon trials.

My favorite vienna lager are not American except for Samuel Adams Boston Lager. I'm of Mexican descent so my first vienna lagers were Dos Equis Amber and Victoria. But in recent years Bohemia which makes one of the best pilsners ever makes Bohemia Vienna. It's has notes of nuts coffee cacao and sweet bread. It's by far my favorite vienna lager. I love craft vienna lagers aswell. Devils backbone brewery makes a great one. Believe it or not Sierra Nevada had a great vienna lager but it's not available in my area. But Sierra Nevada makes a great oktoberfest and festbiers. I've homebrewed a vienna marzen hybrid. 1st time came out to sweet so I switch to Bavarian hops and it was right on the money
