Four of the greatest musicians who have ever lived. What a joy to see all four original members playing together. It is time we got some of these concerts released on DVD for their fans to enjoy. This is what your call 'Real Music', none of the manufactured rubbish that is generated today.

This is the line up when I went to see them at Salford Uni in '74. All that's left is Graham Gouldman and Paul Burgess. I know Graham would argue that the current line up has been around longer than the original 10cc but, come on they are nothing more than a tribute band now. Godley and Crème were the inventive genius's (genii?) and Eric Stewart was a great producer as well as an accomplished musician even before 10cc. For me these guys are up there with the Beatles.
@davefrance37215 жыл бұрын
I saw that line up in 2016 in the Isle of Man, and the musical quality was superb. I was disappointed that Rick Fenn was no longer in the lineup, but they pulled off a great perfomance. Not only that, but the band came into the bar after the show and were really down to earth people chatting with everyone.
@captainblack85847 жыл бұрын
Yep, we had it good and didn't realise it. What a great live sound, also without the aid of the thousands of other musicians and equipment artistes nowadays seem to need to play live. We probably thought that music of this quality would always be around - look what we've ended up with. Whoever was doing the sound mixing for this concert also deserves a big thumbs up.

Definitely the best band of the 70s. No-one else came close. The Original Soundtrack album is one of the best ever made. It's a shame that most people only know them from their single releases because their album tracks were even better. If you listen to The second sitting of the last supper you'll think they could see into the future too.

One of my biggest regrets growing up in the US was not getting to hear these "magicians" of song. Other than "Im Not In Love" (which was a turn-off because it was out of context of their vastness) and later "The Things We Do For Love", which still holds up. I really appreciate the posts. Thanks a lot.
