In the past, Rockstar have made announcements then delays and we've almost come to expect that but I really think that this is different. It feels like they wanted to make sure they could deliver this time around. I know they only said 2025 at this stage which is a whole year window but they will surely aim for early to meet the financial projections of Take Two but if there is a delay, it won't be as bad as other titles. In saying that, I want the best game experience so if the game isn't ready, I would rather wait a bit longer.

This only suggests it’s way more than a year. They will advertise for a couple of months. Up to a month to short list, then new hire may take up to another month to leave old job and start. With the biggest game ever created you need to count that there are up to 2 years of bugfixes. GTA VI will not have a day one patch. Disc version will be the final version of the game. Not like every AAA studio. After GTA VI release* Rockstar Games will be AAAA studio.

A lot of Russian speakers in the world. Doesn’t mean that they will “directly” sell the game in Russia, more likely through post Soviet states. Additionally due to Russias hostile laws i.e branding anything it sees as obscene as “LGBT Propaganda” i.e could be anything obvious like the guy in the thong from the trailer or less obvious like partial nudity I.e relating the the “Almost Naked Party” that happened in Moscow a few months back that was branded “LGBT propaganda” basically anything it sees as non-traditional would make selling it in-stores impossible. GTA 5 has 2 gay nightclubs called Pitchers and Cockatoos, both would have been legal in early 2013 before propaganda law came in to effect. Rockstar has banned all of its games in Steam for Russian players

Just because Rockstar puts up job postings doesn't mean the game is coming out in a year! There are still plenty of issues with that concept! The biggest thibg being the layoffs at Rockstar and the shady tax benefits in Europe that may be investigated! Also, bringing everyone back to the office doesn't mean the game is close to complete! Isn't motion capture ALL done in the studio? Can't do that from home. So if they are just NOW bringing everyone in... that means there is still a lot of work left to do!
