It was definitly too expensive. I bought the voodoo for 5000 $ and thought ok lets put color and some speakers on this ride and maybe some small hydraulics. Then i saw the pricetag (420000 $ thats about 4 reallife lowrider) just to make this rustbucket custnomiseable. The prices on other parts are okay (except the hydraulics) but they could be cheaper because you dont pay 20k for a licenseplateholder in reallife. Rockstar wants us to buy sharkcards and these custnomfee ruins the whole update. "Thank you" Rockstar for ruining the best update ever made.

Could u do a video in what low rider is the fastest. I know they are low riders and supposed to be low and slow but would still be nice to know. From looking at the weight and power I'm guessing either the buccaneer or the williard because the willy soon light and the buccaneer has 6 more hp then all the cars plus it's not as heavy as some with less power and only four gears. Please make a video on it. I'm sure I can't be the only one wanting to know.

I'm feel the same way. I feel they are a costy, but at the same time, I like seeing rare things online, because it would suck for everyone to have a LowRider or for everyone to easily get a yacht. Expensive items widens the gap and in a way I don't mind it keeps me playing when I have time, to want to earn that new car, or house. My only true beef is, when are they gonna give us either more or just better paying missions. I'd like to see some $40,000-$50,000 missions. We just need more ways of earning good cash instead of grinding Heist to death.

I'm massively disappointed with the whole thing. I had saved up a million over a long time and I bought the customisation coz I wanted to see what was available, then hastily bought the top level hydraulics not counting the 0s. Now I'm left with 1 slow car that gets damaged every time I even think about a curb and costs 2 grand to fix and 21k to my name. I was bored of bouncing up and down within 20 minutes too. now I can only get 400k for the car so I've lost over half my money even if I get rid of the car

Got the Voodoo for $5,000 because I like the look of it better than the others. Upgrade was $420,000. 250,000 for the hydraulics. $100,000 for the speakers. $40,000 for the air filter. $100,000 for interior. $50,000 for rims and an extra $25,000 for bullet proof tires. I sold 5 cars for this. 1. Dewbachee Massacro (Racecar) 2. Conquette 3. Vapid Blade 4. Karuma 5 Vapid Bullet Not really worth it imo, but it's really nice

The Adder is 1 million stock standard, no customisation or modifications at all. People don't complain about that. Yeah, they are expensive but when I looked at it from the perspective that I know have a completely maxed out, personalised vehicle with amazing mods to it, I felt better about dropping that kind of money. As a big fan of lowriders I kinda feel like the cars could have been more expensive, not like I could afford them if they were but it would give it more of a lowrider feel and would influence the built not bought mindset where people would buy their car stock and slowly start adding upgrades as they could afford it so their car becomes a solid item.

Hey ross i agree with you but it's not only that. They pretty much killed the racing, drag racing, and drifting communities when they took the mid drive speed boost (double clutch from the game). This means that cars now are boring in drag racing, cars can't drift properly anymore (i tested it myself), and in the racing invoirement the car now will automaticly slow down when it thinks you're making a so called "mistake". Sorry for the bad english still learning it.

Yes this dlc was really expensive in game but Rockstar gave us plenty of chances to make money especially during double RP and double money playlists from heists. FYI the in order challenge and criminal mastermind challenge from heists will pay 12 million not to mention the payout you get from doing the setups.

I was hyped to upgrade cars. I'm pissed that it isn't in story mode so I can't fucking demo any of the cars and customization. I'm pissed at the price. The most expensive hydraulics is more expensive than the vacca. I was expecting a 50k to make it a low rider, I was so hyped and when I entered the shop I was happy, and then when I saw the price just to make it custom I was pissed. I have 75k not 1 million. I was super happy with heists and the free mode events DLC, but those are the only DLCs that the items are buyable for normal players.

I feel the start up cost was a little to pricey; but the items themselves were reasonable/inline with other dlc items. I will say Rockstar gave us this DLC free; most games would have made this at a $10-15 download. While I am not an advocate of buying virtual currency; that is how Rockstar is planning to make money on DLC; need money buy a shark card.

The only two reasons that I can fathom prices like this is a tactic to reduce the amount of modded money people have, or force people to buy Shark Cards so they can afford all of the items in the DLC (The more likely reason, seeing as almost all video game companies are jumping on the micro-transaction DLC bandwagon nowadays). Either way, I know personally I couldn't even afford to get the "custom" version of any of the cars, even after stealing a Voodoo I found driving around in Sandy Shores. Anyway, was this update overpriced? Hell. Yes. Is the customization worth it? Depends on your style preference, but most of the options are at least unique enough to reason a look.

It's way too expensive I murdered my piggy bank of 3 mil, to get like three cars upgraded - fortunately I already had the Chino and saved 225k on that - but still, way too expensive - and still got 3 Cars in my garage waiting for upgrades :) but the thing i think sucked the most is that Benny's mod shop didn't make it into singleplayer for 2 reasons 1. I like to buy the DLC cars and check out the performance and the customisation in Singleplayer because I don't wanna feel like I wasted my money in online (because it's really Hard earned cash) 2. I would love to do a funny gang documentary in Director mode and for that I could really use the Low Riders - and for some reason you can't acces your GTA Online Vehicles in Director mode (wich is a shame)

this is the reason why i dont play gta anymore, because i take hours grinding out races and missions, and in the end i barely got any money from them, and then i go to customize a car and i suddenly have to go grind out more missions and i dont even get to use the car, they ban people for doing money glitches and modding money, but really thats the only way to have enough money to have fun in free roam, because at this point its like ok i spend an hour in free roam and suddenly i have no money to do anything, so i have to go do more missions, and even the heists, its so hard to get a group of 4 people who know what theyre doing, and you have to do the one with the highest payout twice just so you can customize your car

I'm actually "OK" with the price, it kind of adds a personal love type car, If they were cheap everyone would have every car fully modded.Where's the originality? with the amount of customization and the amount of money people are willing to spend you will find it very unlikely to find one car exactly the same as another. Plus it was a FREE DLC R* could of easily charged for this dlc but they didn't so with the expensive prices of the digital goods they hope people would spend IRL money on shark cards

The fact that you can't preview the customisation options beforehand is what irks me the most. If I could use my singleplayer millions to try out all the cars and decide which I liked most and how I was going to customise it before buying it in Online, that wouldn't be so bad. But since the update is Online exclusive I can't do that.(Plus I'd like to be able to use these cars in singleplayer anyway). And in Online you can't see the new customisation features until you've already spent half a million. Unless you've got a friend or have seen videos of other people customising the cars, your basically spending 400,000 in the hope that you'll like the options. However I can see the price from the perspective that these cars are mainly for showing off. They aren't faster or stronger/armoured or have some advantage other players (unless you count crushing other players using the hydraulics an advantage). A little like the 10 million gold jet, they are about showing off. Yet this is arguably the biggest expansion R* have released so far (other than heists) and locking content behind a pay-wall with no way to preview what players are buying seems too much IMO.

It's not even that its expensive, it's that the prices are insanely wrong. A fully built low rider with insane paint job can cost over 100k. Not 1 million!!!!! Nothing else is 10x as expensive! Why are these? I was so excited... Been playing San Andreas a lot lately... We're talking 1,500 for Hydros. 1,000 for custom paint, and 800 for wheels I think. What the hell!

Dude the customizations are just way too overpriced. I mean, 400,000 just to be able to customize your car, then another 200,000 + for hydraulics and so on. Rockstar did a great job with this DLC but the fact that it's overpriced makes other people not enjoy it as much.

I didn't buy any upgrades, I am saving my money for the Halloween update. I bet the cars in that DLC will only be up for purchase for a short while, like most holiday updates.

i always assume online content costs alot, and i do think they are way overpriced. but what is more annoying is that the cars and modshop weren't put in Single Player, i don't play gta 24/7 so i don't have millions. but i would always preview the content in singleplayer, mod the cars, and decide what i like best and buy it online. With this update that is impossible

Lets just say this and I hope rockstar is looking at this. In real life the prices are MUCH MUCH MUCH cheaper. In real life on average the cost of a custom low rider will be around $200,000 for people to create their dream low riders ( with things outside of the dlc). So do I think that the dlc is too expensive? YA I DO and it also is completely incorrect. This is just rockstar trying to make money from shark cards. And they are also releasing a dlc for Halloween which will leave people either buying more shark cards, not buying low riders for Halloween cars or the opposite.

The reason I think the DLCS are expensive now and the reason they should be expensive, is because they gave us heists, you can make plenty of money just playing heist a couple of days and just having fun with the game, I don't think it's expensive at all, if we didn't have heist then yes I would say they are expensive, but we have a way to make pretty good money, of course they will make things expensive to control the in game currency, what's the point of having money and not spending it ? (Does not mean go blow your real life money) save that real money up. Lol
