My Headsculpt did the same thing. I used a micro flat head screw driver and popped it out. May be a better option than the pliers.

They can includes extra hair pieces for when you turn the head so you cant see a gap just like the scarlet witch

But I would agree that with the sculpted long hair is very hard to do those head turns like I wish just like Wanda has those different sculpted hair pieces that they would have made one that you can use to turn her head when you're posing looking at a different direction
