I'm also getting a max of about 29mph on my new Zooz. While that is plenty for me and feels pretty damn fast in urban areas, I can see how more speed could be wanted in an area with a ton of straights like that. Personally, I'm finding that mobbin up and down curbs and getting around traffic is where it shines. Cheers, duder.

You halft to pay attention when buying a controller because most list the max amperage as rated current max current is for a very short distance when first getting on the throttle

If the controller your looking to buy does not list the rated current run like hell cause your paying way more then that controller is worth because there listing the max current is useless

Ariel rider seems like a crappy and shady company. Maybe they sent you an already damaged bike. Zooz sells alreafy damaged bikes but at a discount. Ariel Rider probably sent you a damaged bike and played it off like it was the shipping company's fault

I trust what you say. There's another KZbinr I watch that videos are just fine but he totally goes off the script. He has a bike coming and is already raving about it. I held back by saying based on what you have already said I can predict how the review will be. I'd much rather take the advice of you and one other person. Nether of you slam bikes just to slam them or give the everything is awesome you give real reviews. A manufacturer who is building a quality product should want you to review and frankly not send 💩 to the people who give fluff reviews.

The Hailong type batteries have a fuse which I believe is 35 amp. Your new controller will blow the fuse and leave you stranded (it happened to me 5 miles from home!) I have swapped the fuses to 50 amp and have had no problems at all. I too am upgrading my controller and have found a 50 amp one on Ali Express which is cheaper than the one you are buying with the same wiring. I just hope I won't be pushing the amps too far and the fuse will cope!

Yeah aliexpress is cheap. I got mine from Amazon but I no it comes from China regardless. My controller was 99 and with the color 4inch display it’s an extra 79. So it was close to 200. I’m just hoping I can find the right zooz motor connector so I don’t have to cut my wires. And I have a new battery that has a 45amp fuse. Or it should at least.

I purchased my Keppler at the end of September and got it at the beginning of October 2022. They did offer the shipping protection and I purchased it. Think my next project is going to be at Ariel rider X class.

Waited over 5 months for my grizzly. Total let down. Only one motor working now with only 870 miles on it. Out of warranty and definitely not as fun with one motor.

If you used a credit card to buy it, some (VISA) extend the manufacturer's warranty by a year. I've used my CC company twice on purchases out os warranty. All the best.

@@MrCentralDriver be careful with that controller. I installed it on my ZX and it burned out within 100 miles when I opened it up, I found out that it was shunt modded.
