I have had 4 of these bikes over the last 22 years, They are absolutely superb, I currently have a 2000 model in Blue, just been overseas on it with all my mate and in 3 weeks it never missed a Beat , MINT 👌👌👌

@@thomo3663 yes all decals were on there, I would double check with them if ordering though, but I imagine they do the decals prior to clear coating,

Some are push fit, some are screw in Perry 😉

Nice one brother! I never knew they did tank covers for this bike!..I've had to get Chinese farings for my last few bikes so gonna try and keep the blackbird fairings I've Have a 2000 cbr1100xx in blue too!

Yeah that's One of the reasons I choose this set of fairings, it's only an extra $60 for the cover, so it protects the tank, and matches the rest of the set 100%

Just wait till you have to dremil the front wheel fender to get it to fit in-between the gap. My Monster Fairings for my 2000 fit 65% without sanding, grinding, or redrilling the holes. Let alone, the $65 tank cover has literally nothing on the front portion to hold it down besides the plastic nubs on the plastic trim, which would result in it flying up into your torso at highway speeds. I had to wire tie mine to the existing tank holes and force it to work. I was heavily displeased, but I made the mistake of trying to modify them to fit instead of sending them back. Now, I have a $750 pair of shitty, poor fitting fairings just in case my OEM ones get broken. Also, after my escapade, I took my OEM fairings to my local paint guy and he was able to paint the fairings and tank in a great quality black for $450. In my opinion, save your money and have someone respray for OEM fairings and tank.

I have to say I somewhat agree with you, for not much more you can your originals painted, but mine were quite badly scratched up and cracked too, so I don't think that would have worked for me. The whole thing was to try and make the bike great again on a budget, and also see exactly what Chinese fairing kits were like, which I guess we did. And yes fitting the front fender was a joke, I took off so much paint trying to get it in there! but a bit of touch up paint sorted that out. Plus some Velcro under the tank was used to get it to fit a bit better. Overall.... would I do it again??? Maybe... but doubtful 😂😁🙃

@@Budget-Cars-And-Bikes I agree. I had some cracks in my front fender and the painter was able to repair/mask the damage in the prep work before painting. Same thing with scratches and micro-dents in the dank!

@@nashcar20 I think I would certainly try the painting originals next time, but this was a good learning curve, and hopefully my expereinces will help others make the right choice for them 🙂

@@Budget-Cars-And-Bikes I will say, the absolute best thing I got out of the deal was the trim. My old trim was slightly sun damaged from the years and the fresh black plastic looks amazing
