Tbh I wish we got Future Warfare instead of Ghosts, especially if the campaign wouldn’t have ended on a cliffhanger that IW/Activision had no intention to finish. Warzone really ruined this franchise, it’s really a shame MW2R: MP got stripped for maps for MWIII, and that MW3R probably won’t ever come out. BO1 and BO2 Remasters definitely should have existed too. 😢

I heard that they wanted a space level in MW2 2009, that's why the satellite was in the base. But they veteoed the idea of a space level as too unrealistic.

I agree, its underrated. I liked the movement in that game, because they actually designed the maps around it well. The sliding in mw23 is pretty much the same as the dash in AW, and you could do some cool stuff with the boost jump. Like when someone is chasing you, and you boost jump over and behind them and shoot them in the back. Also I liked exozombies, I thought the burger town map was cool.

In terms of Future Warfare, pretty much the whole game (in it's unfinished state) was leaked online and there's a bunch of footage online now. It looked so cool, and you can even see some stuff being used in BO2 as well, like the whole Los Angeles Siege. One of the saddest cancellations, honestly. I think new studios added to the dev loop could bring such a fresh and new take on the franchise.

I would love to see aw2 come out now or a IW2 I know the ogs are mad about it but I loved those two games now the 80s themed zombies will always be my fav map character development and the zombies were perfect. The multiplayer was fantastic fast quick shooting and insane movement now I loved bo1 n bo2. But when aw n iw came out it was beyond different and difficult which was fun it challenged you in every way. God I’d give my left nut to have aw2 or iw2.

If Future Warfare wasn't cancelled they would've released Ghosts the year after. The whole point of getting Neversoft to make a game in the first place was likely to give IW and Sledgehammer more time to develop their games. Ghosts would've probably never released in 2013 if it wasn't for Activision moving resources from Future Warfare to Ghosts.

Advanced Warfare was so hated and honestly i really really disagree. I would LOVE and i mean absolutely LOVE AWII. The story is 9.9/10 and the mechanics were completely different which is a really fun change and more logical. because a real soldier would carry about 4 or 5 mags for their AR but in CoD you are carrying a stockpile of ammo. all whilst your 'operator' can move at the speed of light. AW makes more sense as with the exo-suit you'd feel waaaaaay less weight and makes quick movement logical.
