Magic Kingdom is Empty || First time on Tron || First time dining at Tony's || Day One

Hello you!
Welcome to our WDW vlog series for 2023! It's our first full day and we're off to Magic Kingdom. It's a Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party day so if all goes to plan the park shouldnt be very busy. We also have a virtual queue for Tron. And we are a bit nervous. Lunch is at Tony's Town Square Restaurant which we've never done before. David goes Pandora charm window shopping as he is looking to add to his collection on this trip. All in all we're excited to be back!

How lucky with the crowds? Never seen it look so quiet. Perfect. We went to Tony's in 2013 but had a projectile vomiting incident at the table (nothing to do with the restaurant as it happened before the food!!!) and the staff there were incredible. Looked like a cracking day & great vlog as always ❤

We did luck out. We expected quiet but not that quiet. It made such a difference to the day. If we had the same experience (anywhere) that you had at Tony’s it would put us off for life! 🤦🏼‍♂️ Glad we didn’t hear that story before we went.

Well, what are the odds a new video in the morning and I’m awake! Security pulled me over for my battery charger. Honestly, it looked like a flask! LOL! Hadn’t ridden TRON yet, that will be a 2024 treat. Have a marvelous day!

Loved that vlog. Reminded me of when we used to go in January many years ago and everything was essentially a walk-on. When we went in Jan 2020 (after an 8-year absence) we had to queue for hours for everything and we were horrified! Well done on making a park-day vlog funny and interesting - too many of them from other vloggers are a bit tedious.

Hi guys great vlog a little tip when you arrive at the TTC don’t get on the monorail or boat instead take the short walk to the Polynesian and get the resort monorail and do the security there it’s so relaxed and also a quick shot of Ac and a Joffreys keep safe Andy and Vonnie

Thanks for the top tip! We had breakfast at the Poly one morning and the monorail was down so we had to wait (ages) from the Poly boat - so there’s a risk going there for the more relaxed monorail option... plus it’s more walking 🤦🏼‍♂️

It was wonderfully empty! We lucked out for sure. And Tony’s was a proper find. And we did time it well - but we do now like an early lunch! May or may not be a vlog ready to go next Saturday - will be dependant on work and Marshall.

Oh my, those wait times are incredibly short! What a nice chilled MK day. Tony’s is a lovely place to lunch, I much prefer my balls to be meatless 😉 Even Carnivore Kev prefers DLP’s vegan chilli to the meaty one! They have nailed a lot of the plant based food. So, 😛to your anger issues Ian when your equipment doesn't work right on Buzz 😜🤣😂 ( you both done good though!! ) OMG, I just nearly choked on my tea at 'We've got friction in the pants' whilst Driving Miss Daisy!!! 😋😛 Oooh brave boys going on TRON!!! 😱wow !! I'm so thrilled for you both, that you did it! 🙌👌( i know wobbly legs ...after my BTM ordeal in DLP , it messed me up for hours! ooer! ) So, when you're sat at the back on Tron, is there still a lap bar over you and even though its intensely fast, does it feel smoother & less jolty? All of the wait times that day were pretty good eh? Fab stuff guys , have a lovely Saturday David, Ian & Marshall 🐶😍 woof xx

The wait times were a dream, Debbilicious. And yes, at the back of Tron there is a default sit in car where the lap bar pushes into you from the front. It doesn’t go over your head. It felt very safe, but that push off at the beginning is fast, and then once you think you’re on your way it gets faster 🙈 It was crazy smooth though. But we did see a few piles of vom on the walk to the exit a few times. So it’s not for everyone!

I was over in July and I paid for an individual Lightning Lane for Tron was going to sit in the ordinary seat. Made the mistake of going up where the toilets are and watching people go past on ride because they come down low there. A lady went past screaming like she was possessed and she was in seat not bike so put me off and didn't do it $25 wasted
