Cycling to Millie's cafe in Hurst Green Lancashire - I'm a cyclist and I live the Pennines

Cycling to an iconic cafe in the heart of Lancashire at Hurst Green. Today we had a fantastic ride out in our local hills to Millie's cafe which is nestled in between Clitheroe and Longridge with Ribchester not too far away either. The last time we visited this cafe it was closed
If you like cycling videos where you feel like you have experienced something as if you were actually out there on the road with us then this might be the channel for you. with friendly advice and an insight into social cycling where at times we like to go a bit quick too.
On today's ride we focus on how easy it is to keep up with the flow of traffic which isn't a good idea when you are doing 30 mph.

It's a cracking bit of road this and for most of the cyclists in the group it's one of the best bits of the ride. A steady car driver can literally get in the way.

Hello Nick, I often let cars go by on a good descent to enjoy them all the more. I think we were lucky on this one with the weather too . Living in the Pennines can mean it's sunny on one side of the hill and pouring down on the other..

Nice one Sir 👍 Sometimes, the best way to get a GoPro working again, is to take the battery out, wait and reinsert it. I know sometimes it's tempting to just throw it against a wall😄I've been there. If you're in the Ripponden area passing through. I've got a fun/scary descent, and climb for you to try. It's Foxen Lane, between Soyland and Mill Bank for the descent. And the reverse back for the climb. You could get there by climbing either Royd Land or Stony Lane, from the centre of Ripponden.

Yes it normally works when you take the camera battery out, the battery was flat but I'm 100% sure it was charged ! I know the area you mean I did a ride over that way a few weeks ago, I actually lost my bearings for a moment because |I never realised that I'd crossed the A58 lower down from the Turnpike lanes.

Nice ride Daz, love when you mention which roads you ride, I like to look up the route. Seriously it looked scary watching how close some of the guys got to that car, no room for error, so be careful out their guys, no one wants an injury, be safe Alan.
