Where were you buddy you should have shouted out.... Anyway... I've done some big rides in the past where I felt pretty average - to say the least, then at 90 miles in something weird happens where I come alive ! But that's cycling for ya. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts. Oh and for subscribing.

Oh i look forward to your bike ride vids. My first vid i saw of you was when you did the Way Of The Roses, i was a late comer to cycling, starting at 60, i had a few health issues and bought a second hand bike thinking if the cycling didnt work out, well its not cost me alot. At firsr it nearly killed me doing 15 mins..but stuck with it, and when i was 65 did the W O R. My lad took me to Morecambe. He went home and i set off not knowing what to expect, anyway i made it to Patley Bridge..had booked into guest house, my body was bussing like an electric pylon in a winter frost.,never felt like that before, felt tired but so alive. A few pints that night and next day onto york and stayed there and then the last leg onto Bridlington. Loved it. Ive watched that vid you did..cant belive did it in one go..brilliant. So do please keep your posting your vids , i love them. Cheers jim

Some great experiences there and thank you for sharing them James. The cycling bug can become a life changer and at times quite an expensive one too. Thanks for your kind words they are very much appreciated. I have 3 more cafe stop videos to edit one of which I did in the car with the usual road crew yesterday as it was dreadful the weather, mind you I still did 40 miles later on - in the rain. Take care my friend, and ...until the next time.

Great video again - I know the valley you pointed out before Blaenau though I've never worked it - I've been working a bit further south near Transfynydd which might be of interested to you. That side road and the big drop down near the end of the road from Bala to Transfynydd was where Top Gear used to do a lot of their filming - great roads for driving and cycling. Keep the videos coming - always look forwards to your next one. Best regards, Ordog

Thanks for watching Peter, Sounds like you know your stuff in this location. There's a lifetimes worth of knowledge needed to find gold in these hills. It is all truly fascinating to me.
@peterstephens12995 жыл бұрын
Hi there Daz - access to that valley coming into Blaenau is very difficult - you can get to the top OK, but the interesting stuff is going to be at the bottom - you could try scrambling down from the viewing point car park but it'd be real slog back up again afterwards. There's a couple of small tracks that take you to the south of the cwm but you're on display to the farms as you go round to the bottom of the waterfalls... for an initial foray, if you go 3 miles as the crow flies just south of west of the car park just before the river enters the main channel there's a lovely quiet place to pan right next to the road. Might pick up some nice colours there. PS look at your oldest video:-) Peter

Fantastic stuff Chris. There are so many different routes to choose from Abersoch but there's a cracking coastal cycling path near the Pen Y clip tunnels leading to Conway that is nice and flat.
