I watched this when it aired on tv and years later forgot about it, and out of nowhere here in October 2020 it pops back up into my life, Jesus trully has a way of reminding us he always been with us, even when become distant he draw us back into his embracing arms with love and comfort, God bless. I remember when I first heard the song by the person who wrote it, I became really depressed because of the spirit behind it. With daughtry however, there's a different kind of spirit. I'm glad for that because now I understand it depends on the person who sings it.

I had never before heard of the Passion musical until a couple of days ago when I came across it on KZbin. WOW! I have watched it four times now and will probably watch it many more times. I just can't seem to get enough of it! All of the cast gave outstanding performances to the point that I forgot that these were just actors. I also cried more then once. The song choices were perfect and they were able to give them a totally new perspective of them from what I originally thought before watching this. I really wish they would release this on DVD or show it on tv every year.

One of the many reasons that I love this production of “The Passion” is the raw emotion that you can see on the characters’ faces and hear in their voices. Jencarlos’s performance of “Calling All Angels” broke my heart just a little, because he looked like he was on the verge of dissolving into tears at any second. This show is one of the most beautiful representations of raw, in-the-moment emotions, and it is a beautiful thing to behold!

I'm glad! As a christian i encourage you to not be afraid to question your beliefs, only then will you find the truth. If you want some good reading material i would suggest lee strobel's The Case for Christ (a similar title to read of his would be the case for a creator) and CS Lewis' Mere Christianity. If you're looking for a good weekly sermon, i would recommend going to Calvary Chapel Chino Hills' website (under Media Center) and check out over 20 years' worth of amazing sermons that go in depth and into the original greek text and meaning while also discussing how the Bible can apply to us today. And, of course, i encourage you to keep praying. I hope this helped even in the slightest. I'll leave you with one of my favorite quotes: "Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason, than that of blind-folded fear." Having moved back to Texas recently, August 2023; and now deciding to move from city life to rural Texas at this time of year we have yet to watch The Passion New Orleans 2016 once again, while I know we will watch it again since we purchased the DVD of this marvelous production, I just fear it will be awhile before we can take time. Trying to get all our finances straightened out with the massive mortgage we are paying living in the city, we have discovered some unusual high costs we have to pay to get established in rural Texas because of that horrible Hurricane Harvey did so much damage to Louisiana and Texas so many years ago, laws had to be changed costing us more than anticipated for us. Hopefully we can get our home sold in time to make the move. We will also have to find time later to watch the Passion of Christ once again. But we will watch both Passion of New Orleans 2016 and the Passion of Christ.

ever since this aired live on tv, i have watched it all the time during Lent, mainly because i give up anime for it, but also because i love the songs and sing the everytime. and at this time with the virus running rempart through the world and mainly the states, we need a sense of hope. i live in ny and my family, except me, is on the front line of this in some form or another. my dad works at walk in clinics and is a retired FDNY-EMS LT. my younger brother (29) is a firefighter/emt with FDNY, my younger sister (28) is a volunteer with a local ambluance company, mom is a retired EMT from the FDNY-EMS. and my brothers girlfriend is dealing with this more as a nurse in a hospital. plz keep ALL those on the front lines in your prayers. edit: this year this shows has more of a meaning for me since i lost my father to covid January 20, 2021. so its the first year of everything without him around to do the family traditions with
