These Premium Economy seats looks much better than the shells they used to have. Glad to see the food seems to be a little bit more upgraded as well. The business and economy class seats looks more comfy and sleeker as well.

I have seen many Premium Economy Cabin sections and I know when I will seat in Premium Economy, I do like the first row after the wall separation from Business Class on your side and then over to the left side.

Istg before breakfast was good you would either get scrambled eggs bacon or something sweet with either hot chocolate or coffee now it’s lame and the cutlery was way better back in the day idek why they changed everything😑

If you booked through a travel agency, they can upgrade you to premium economy. Like I did through my travel agent for an upcoming Airfrance trip.

Look for the 48 seat premium eco 777-300ER

Every plane should be refurbished, but there’s one type where there’s 48 PE seats and another plane type that has less than that, that focuses more on economy. I prefer the other one since economy there starts at seat 10 and i can sit in front of the engine.

This really doesn’t look as comfortable as the current premium eco with hard shell. One of the big plus of flying premium in my opinion is the freedom to recline your seat only when you want. When you recline, you don’t feel bad for the person behind. This looks more like economy than premium…

That “breakfast” is an embarrassment for Premium Economy. It’s the exact same one served in Economy, they also serve that exact same junk food crap box on their longest flights (13-14h) as the only second meal. They should change their title of Economy class to Diet and Starving class. What excuse do they have? Not enough cabin crews? Can’t be bothered to spend money on catering? Covid 3.0 excuse? Maximising bonus pot for management?

Awesome review!! I am flying to Singapore from Paris in July of this year and my fingers are crossed that it will be a retrofitted 777 just like this. I flew to Singapore from New York last year (premium economy) and was quite impressed. The food was phenomenal. Hoping to have a similar experience with Air France. Does the premium economy give you access to the lounge for free or a discounted rate? I am thinking 50 Euros. My layover will likely be six or more hours.
