Sometimes wire won't stick to obd2 pins when soldering, and overall the wires snap very easily for some reason... Did you have problems making the cable?

@mrfixpl3 жыл бұрын
It doesn’t require drivers since it’s a standard Ethernet connection. You need to configure your LAN card for proper communication.

Nice video, it would be more helpful if you can tell which pins on the RJ-45 connector side (has 8 pins and ethernet cable has 4 pairs) are those 4 wires connected to, without that info, not sure if it is helpful enough.

Hi there! I don't suppose the E81 Late 2008 has ENET already? Cheers for the info!
@mrfixpl5 жыл бұрын
I believe that only if your E81 is equipped with CIC navigation you'll be able to connect with ENET cable. But it will connect only with the navi unit. For the rest of modules you would need K+DCAN interface.

In the video I'm testing it in E84 (so not Fxx model) but with said CIC navigation.

Oczywiście diody led bezpiecznie usytuowane w obudowie interfejsu.

Hello and thank you for sharing. Any chance you know the wiring configuration for a 2013 bmw 750Li (f02) (N63Tu engine) obd to ethernet cableb for using ista d, ista p and WinKFP software (WinKFP acronym may be wrong but i am referring to the bmw programming software for any in depth programming or coding that does not use ista p or ista D) I purchased what i was told is A BMW icom cable that is good for “iCOM A2” interface as well as “iCOM NEXT” interface. The obd to ethernet pin wiring i have on my cable is slightly different than what you have here in your video… I have Pin 1 blank Pin 2 blank Pin 3 orange wire alone Pin 4 and pin 5 are jumped together but Pin5 has green wire with white stripe soldered to it also. Pin 6 blank Pin 7 blank Pin 8 has 507 ohm resistor soldered to pin 16 Pin 9 blank Pin 10 blank Pin 11 orange wire with white stripe alone Pin 12 blue wire alone Pin 13 green wire alone Pin 14 blank Pin 15 blank Pin 16 has the 507 ohm resistor soldered to pin 8 Is it possible that you have the enet cable and i have the icom cable? Or is my cable just wrong possibly? Any help or insight would be much appreciated! Curious, what is the name of the wire you are making here in this video? Sorry for the long message!
