There are two kinds of Adam Sandler movies, funny movies that start off funny and stay funny through the end. And then there’s the funny movies that start out funny, and then by the end of it, you’ve reevaluated your life and cried so hard that you dehydrated. This is my second favorite of the funny until the end category (Little Nicky stays number one for being my intro to Sandler). Between Carl Weathers, Ben Stiller, and Adam Sandler- you don’t a moment to breathe before you’re losing it again. Not to mention Christopher McDonald who always plays a great comedic villain. 😂

Got to checkout Adam Sandler in Hustle. His best performance of his career in this NBA dramedy. He also was nominated for Best Actor in a Leading Role at the Screen Actor’s Guild Awards for his performance in that film. I highly recommend it.

There's not many people who I see watch the movies I'm going to suggest right now but they are SO underrated. You should definitely watch The Beethoven Movies (at least from 1-5 and there's another one that's called Beethoven's Big Break or whatever that stars the little kid that plays rico from Hannah Montana. And the reason I suggest only 1-5 besides Beethoven's Big Break is because it's one of the only ones that deal with the same cast or in relation to). These are very good movies but hey be my guest and find out for yourself.

Not only Weathers, but Joe Flaherty (the "jackass" guy) also passed away recently, just last month. He's a recognizable character actor who's been all over 80s and 90s. You may recognize him as the Western Union guy who shows up to deliver Marty Mcfly the letter at the end of Back to The Future 2. And you probably know Bob Barker died in August. So I'm a huge game show nerd. They approached Bob Barker to do the role, and said he'd be in a fight with Adam Sandler. It went like this. "Well who wins the fight?"" "You do." "I'LL DO IT!". Then he showed up to film, and they said "Don't worry we have a stunt double for you Bob." and he said "No way! If I'm doing this, I'm doing it for real!" He said once the movie came out, not a day went by (11 more years that he did TPiR) that someone in the audience didn't ask about Happy Gilmore. Random fun fact. The director of TPiR now is named Adam Sandler, no relation.

Bob Barker signed on to do this movie when he found out he won’t the fight with Adam Sandler. When he found they wanted to use a stunt double for the fight his reaction was “I know how to fight”. He trained under Chuck & Aaron Norris doing Tang Soo Do. The fight scene originally was Happy hitting Barker then the scene cut away but they decided a full blown fight would be better. The viewership for the “The Price is Right” increased after Bob Barker did this role especially with college age kids. Sandler went on “The Price is Right” to promote the movie and during the Showcase Showdown they showed the clip of them fighting. They had Ed McMahon originally but he declined due to the crude humor and language. Lee Trevino (the guy that only line is “Grizzly Adams did have a beard) didn’t realize how crude the humor was until after filming and he wishes he didn’t do the film. 9:55 diet is worse for you cause they put aspartame in it that isn’t good for you. 18:42 what do you think he meant by it? Are you trying to make it a racial thing?

My favorite Sandler flick, so far. Used to occasionally get to make a delivery to Mr. Weathers. REALLY nice guy! Even got a good chuckle or two out of him, especially after he was having some difficulty getting some papers back into the manilla envelope, he said, “It’s these linebacker’s hands.”, to which I replied, “At least you’re not still dealing with that wooden job!”, 😁 Definitely one of my favorite celebrity encounters. (& ya gotta love him in this flick!) Really gonna miss him. Carl Weathers R. I. P 😁😔😁 BTW… (Apologies if someone has mental this before me.) The “HEY! MISTAH! MISTAH!” woman was Anne Meara. 33:34 Golf Scoring is based on the normal amount of time you should hit your ball. For example If Hole #1 is a PAR 4, that means it normally should takes you 4 hits to get your ball to the hole. If you do it in in 4, you have a score of 0. If you do it in 5, you have a score of 1 because you are 1 hit above the normal. If you do it in 3, you have a score of -1 because you are 1 under the normal. So basically, in Golf, the lower your score is, the better it is. (That explains why it was so impressive when he did a hole in 1 on a PAR 4)

I'm a coke zero person if it's available. If not, I go for the classic coke! In terms of the scoring system in golf, it's wildly different from most other sports. If I get any details wrong, someone please correct me! Each hole has a "par" that you're trying to meet, or hopefully beat. For example, if a hole has par 4, your goal is to make it in four strokes (as a professional at least). If you make it in less strokes, you get a negative for your score, and if you make it in more strokes, you get a positive. So if they come to a hole that's par 4 and Happy makes it in two strokes and Shooter makes it in five, Happy gets a -2 for that hole and Shooter gets a +1. The person with the lowest score at the end of 18 holes wins. There's a couple other scoring details involved, but that's the basics. I hope this made sense! 😊
