Agreed… the OG 11s are unmatched. For me, a teen in the 90’s - IN CHICAGO - watching him demoralize the league in these, they’re perfect. The 3 was my first “favorite” shoe as a kid in the 80’s, but the Concord 11 was the first shoe I ever fell in love with (first pair I ever doubled up on, just to have one to admire)

Getting the 2014 release of these is what opened my sneaker world to 2 things: first, that some sneakers end up just sitting in a box and never worn. Never thought of having a pristine pair in my collection up to that point. And the second was sneaker resell. Finding out what they were worth just 1 or 2 years after having them, all the more I had a hard time getting myself to wear them. Eventually sold them when I needed money during the pandemic years. Gonna go for them again, let’s see if I get myself to wear them this time. Perfect sneaker.

I completely agree with you guys on everything here. 11’s in an OG colorway are still some of my favorites, even though I end up wearing 1’s, 3’s & 4’s a lot more. I still wear my Concord’s & Space Jam’s from 2000 (after a full re-glue on each), and I will NEVER get rid of them.

This shoes is the very last OG left I need in my collection of Jordan 11's since I missed out on the 2014s Legend Blues (Columbia) and missed on the 2018 Black Cement 3's. I won't miss out on both this time. Time to complete my OG collection. I cannot afford to miss out on these shoes this time around, I have to get them. Last time these released (2014) me and my wife stood in a line outside a store all night freezing our asses off to try and get 2 pair's. We needed a sz 12 for my son and a sz 7y for my daughter. We ended up with neither. Turns out the store had "backdoored" most of their pairs the day prior. But we didn't leave empty handed. Ended up getting 2 pairs in size 11 and I had to trade down and lose money for the 7y. And trade up and add money for the sz 12. It sucked, but I was trying to make my kids happy. This year I told both my kids I want a pair of these. And one of them is gonna make it happen. I don't care who. But it's my turn. Over the years we have bought the retro 11's as a family. I don't know if we will be able to pull that off with these. Fingers crossed. And Foamer is right, when it come's to the OG's there just something extra special about the release.
