If the original had a small bubble and they had issues with the small bubble and went with a big bubble, we’d all be used to and love the big bubble. That being said if we were used to a big bubble and instead they did a retro of the small bubble, we’d all be saying the same “not used to the bubble size”. All this to say. The shoe is a 10/10

Definitely love these and the fact that this pair is the OG pair very first pair man this is history. Another thing I would like to mention is that I heard that this air unit is now designed with way better material/technology to prevent that mistake that they had when they first released this model in 86. As far as worrying about getting these babies worn out I tend to only put em on a nice sunny summer day so that it holds its esthetic.

Dude it’s 2023 the bubble will hold up fine. Why are people acting like it’s 86 and it’s the first shoe made with a bubble lolz look at Nike 270s or all the other shoes with nothing but a bubble for the sole lol. Those don’t pop or crack so I’m pretty sure they have it dialed by now. Or they wouldn’t be releasing these knowing that it would be thousands if not millions of dollars lost cause they put a defective air bubble lol

I bought these and the GOLF pair and I must say...the GOLF pair needs a comparison video because it's the winner. The midsole is a gloss white, the air bag has a blue tint and overall it's slightly slimmer height. The traction is a plus to me and the biggest win is the toebox is WATERPROOF.

Bought these from stockx THE DAY they dropped. Didn't even go to the ONLY retail store in Houston selling them. In HOUSTON!! I passed on these bc I’ve seen video of the bubbles crunch down on the bubbles when walking on feel the design is flawed. Like when they were made in 86 with the big bubbles and looks better but not as stable as the regular design. So I went with the Chilly 2.0 and Deep Royal blue. I also bc I’m a Og collector since 95, I hate how Nike is rehashing the same shoes and changing something minor and making a big deal about and killing the shoes. I miss the days you didn’t have all these yt videos telling you which shoes to get. Miss the days you went into went to a sneaker shop and pick a pair you liked and started trends . And wear sneakers that maybe in. Year, see another person wearing the same shoes and I’m not talking the same Colorway, but the same Nike. Meaning you could wear AM1 and not see anyone wearing for a year or more. If they had time machines, y’all be like oh shit, it was like that back then. Keep in my in 95, ppl. didn’t collect shoes and bought like 2 pairs to wear and buying shoes and hardly or never wearing was unthinkable for many. It’s like buying a fridge or a tv and never plugging it in or using. Hmm???

They probably won't just wanna stop the big bubble after going through 3yrs of research and experiment process. Right the air bubble of today is way smaller then the air bubbles of the late 80's to 2003, they changed the design of the air unit for all air max trainers, prior to 2003 the air bubble was blow moulded and it always had 4-5 pillars or columns, now they are tiny compared to what they used be, i know because my first air max trainers or sneakers as the Americans say we're the marina blue air max 4 or now know as bw, you could literally look inside the window and see more air going down the inside and up as well, the air 180's of today are tiny from what they used to be back in 91-92 but I believe they're bringing it back to its original form, hope so anyway 👍

I love the brand... I have tons of ur gear... But y'all shouldn't tell people items are exclusive and won't restock ie.
