The drone mechanic is actually so cool. Really incentivizes not quitting early if you have a slow start to a run and trying to hold out at the very least for a drone weapon next run

Fruit's biggest detriment in survivor-likes is his terrible pathing . -Many times he runs towards enemies causing him to get surrounded instead of weaving through gaps . -At least once (only in this video) he mentions "zombies grouping" which he rarely ever does , this is my go to strategy for keeping enemies grouped then leading to quick and easy xp pick ups . -Too often he moves toward smaller xp packs , which makes him run towards enemies , instead of going towards larger packs with less enemies around them . I'm not the best at these games either but it is one thing I noticed since the TemTem vids . Love you Fruit and thanks for the *>1hr vid* ! Looking forward to more TemTem Swarm when that gets an update or full release !

15:40 Not taking the grenade launcher made me sad, ngl. It hit me that the strat is to make a really good gun for your drone first, then go in and try and optimize something for yourself. Synergy is key.

In case the dev of this game sees this comment I want to say that the way this game displays it's information is really clear. You might want to think about relocating the location of the abilities because it seems that people have a hard time remembering to use them because they're so focused on the screen. Maybe you can put them somewhere under the player character.

​@@Mr_Fruit I think the worst part is that you refused to pick up the berthas eye for the bayonet on the assault rifle, you had an ability that did an aoe around you when you where struggling with the fast weak swarm enemies, and your reason for not picking it up was because you forget about it instead of incentivizeing yourself to use it. When you saw that upgrade even if you didn't take it you should have went wait a second I have an ability I'm not using I'm going to start

​@@Mr_Fruit i played a bit of the beta and will tell you that you can scale better if you focus more on specific attributes for a run. For example, mag size and fire rate with crit. There are also certain stats like bullet speed and penetration on the shotgun build you had would be good. The bullet speed and projectile duration both effect how far your bullets travel and if you scale them to your vision range your drone will be able to shoot basically offscreen

​@@Mr_Fruitsome of my favorite combos are the hellfire barrel with mag size, crit, and reload speed whenever you can get it. I also like the explosives weapons with split and projectile count and aoe because you can stack the explosions and cause massive aoe damage and single target damage

@@Mr_Fruit I actually think most of your choices were pretty reasonable, and a lot of the 'bad' ones were just knowledge gaps like Tech Bubble. For some specific bits: -Underbarrels are big game. Basically all of them are good; turrets are my least favorite and bayonet my favorite but I'm pretty happy with any of them. Pick them up early. One thing that isn't made clear is that they work off a stat called special power, which is the only one that actually scales with your level. -Picking up some sort of AoE early is nice. Clearing nests are great for rewards and leveling early, but they will kill you without good AoE. Also, a decent number of fights take place in enclosed spaces; there are quite a few winding tunnels between zones to navigate, and fights there can be rough. -The go-to 'easy mode' for most of the weapons that I've come to like is Hellspitter Barrel + Ammo Rack. Hellspitter gives you an absurd rate of fire increase, and the second one gives an additional scaling RoF increase as you hold down the trigger. Ammo Rack gives a massive magazine size upgrade to compensate for how quickly you dump a mag, and one of the third-tier upgrades adds a damage boost for every bullet missing from the mag. That combination melts everything; I've twice now lamented killing the final boss too quickly with these builds. Round out with bullet damage, extra mag size, 1-2 more reload buffs if you think you need them, and just so much more bullet damage. It takes a lot for me to ever take any other barrel at this point, I really only deviate for the shotgun (Helix + Scoped Sight there is very strong instead; this was my first boss killer).

I've played a lot of vampire survivors and brotato, this looks to me like a better brotato. Brotato kinda forces you into builds with it's character gimmicks while this seems like it gives you more freedom with a build with all it's upgrades. I am interested for sure.
