Since you asked, Jeff originally showed up as a pet for the character Gwenpool after a mission where she and her friends had to fight a bunch of man-eating land sharks. Jeff was a baby land shark that got adopted by Gwenpool. And the fans fell in love. Then, Marvel eventually took Jeff and gave him his own series on a site that was their answer to WEBTOON. He's a very wholesome boy, and that's all that matters.

I came to say I first saw him in the Deadpool King of Monsters series. He was with Gwenpool and then she left him with Deadpool for some reason.

@@BPMaverick111 the reason is gwenpool's whole character is based on the fact that she's aware she's in a comic because she's a marvel fan that somehow ended inside the marvel world. since she's aware of this, she also knows that she and every side character of her comics will die/stop existing if they don't get any more pubblications and essentially has multiple existential crisis during the course of her comics because of this. At some point she decides it's only fair to leave jeff with her friend deadpool (yes they knew each other) because deadpool will virtually always have new comics so jeff will be safe. hope i was clear enough :>

Honestly, at reveal was worried Rivals was going to simply be an Overwatch clone. But man, played it last night and its a blast and the heroes themselves are really well done!

That's exactly how I felt. I was pleasantly surprised. I also like that they made some unique choices with roles for some of the heroes. Like Strange being a tank and Rocket being a healer

Jeff The Land Shark is from the Gwenpool comics I believe. He was one of M.O.D.O.K.'s experiments.

Squirrel Girl has been my main since launch; she's an amazing anti flank character using Squirrel Blockade to freeze enemies and even better if Spider-Man is on the team to give her Webbed Acorn

I didn't think i would like this game that much, it looked a little too mobile game-y to me at first but I'm loving it. I like that the character synergies are going to update every season and the while some of the roster feels familiar skill wide theres plenty of new stuff to experiment with. My favorite thing though is the longest I've had to wait for a match is about 10 seconds. The queue times are impeccable

I’m in the same boat but with it being multiplayer things will probably have to be tweaked a little. But I’m hoping it remains more on the casual side like it is now and they just focus on making it more fun than competitive. The biggest mistake games like this make is making balance changes based on feedback from the top 1% of players that hyper optimize the fun out of the game.

I would recommend going into a custom game for yourself on all maps for everyone and looking at all the destructable terrain there's actually a LOT of alternate paths you can open up for yourself if the enemy team has somewhere locked down
