Hey Fruit, if you ever play this again: Sonata's special lets you control the ball in the air. It moves in 3 short bursts and each time you can angle them however you want. If you don't angle it it just defaults to horizontal like it did in this video. Skateboard robot does have a special, it's just activated differently than everyone else. Hit jump in the air and he'll do a kickflip which bounces the ball really quickly.
