At 11:01 with the chart, I'm not sure if it's because the rules are different, but according to the chart, the player having 8 after the 3rd card would dictate if the banker draws, the chart says the banker is spouse to hold. I'm a roulette person myself, I'm kinda understanding this one, but you lost me. Maybe one day

@budpaw8852 There's another Q&A about this in the comments. The answer is that the banker draw chart is based on the player's third card value (not the hand value) compared to the banker hand value. So the player drew a card valued at 5. The banker hand is worth 3. Based on those values, the chart shows a banker hit.

My local casino plays Gloden Frog Baccarat. They charge the casino banking company the commission, that's how they make their money. Players don't have to pay a commission on the tables anymore. Other games they do. But this is specific to non-Indian casinos in California.

So if player pay 1:1 and banker pay 1:1 with 5% commison hiw do you make money other then winning a tie?

Thank you for the video, can you explain why anyone would ever bet on the dealer? The game is 50/50 either way. If you bet on player you get 1/1 banker pick takes 5%… so why would you ever bet on the 95% payout over the 100% payout? That part I don’t understand

Perhaps the banker is on a winning streak. - in my opinion, you win based on streaks.

@@PuzzlingGames yes, but mathematically, it’s just like a coin flip(pick heads or tails) … which means that any previous outcomes have ZERO effect on the next outcome. If I am understanding the rules correctly then there is never any reason to bet on dealer.

At 11:00 you got a 8 ( with 3 cards)and the banker has a 3 . He doesn't have to Take a third card ! Did I miss something ? On the chart it's written S ( so stand ) . Why did he took a third card ( banker ) ??

P is for the value of the 3rd card player got. his 3rd card was a 5 so the banker hits at 3 👍 he said it wrong in the video lol

Ahh makes sense now. It is the value of the third card for the player that dictates the hit or stand. He said it wrong, so it confused me.

When first talking about a 3rd card, you stated the dealer’s obligation is based on the card drawn. But when showing the example you add the players drawn card to his total. Then the dealers next move is based on the total and not the value of the players drawn card. Can you clarify that for me, please?

In the last game. The player had 8. The banker 3. Your chart says "S" in that case. But in your game the dealer hits. Was that a typo in the chart?

It's based on the third card, not the value of the hand. Although the hand was an 8 the third card was a 5 and the banker had a 3 which makes it a hit for the banker.

If the player’s 3rd card is 3-9, then the banker draws a 3rd card. I think that is the most confusing part of the game. But it’s doable.

But don't you win more money if you win by 7 or more points. Like player gets 9 and banker gets 1, so that's 8 points won by and it pays like 20-1 odds

Because of the complex rules, the banker theoretically has very slightly better odds..about 51%. It's really only noticeable over the long-term...like 100 hands of playing but, mathematically, it's a simple fact.

I think the confusing part is him like he is the player. As I understand it, the dealer is both the player and the banker and you're just arbitrarily being on who you think will win based on nothing at all.
