As cool as that would be, as far as I know that is false. A lot of transmasc people see themselves in Dipper and his struggles with his identity and trying to live up to the standards of masculinity, but being canonically trans is never something Alex intended. If you have a source confirming that he did though, I would love to know, cause that would be awesome!
