😀 Another great video chap - Ear protection is very important. I have switched to Bluetooth ear defenders - eliminating cables is a game changer. Nice one chap 👍🏻

MrGardener18 Great idea. Music is such an important part of my working day. Especially those miserable wet days - helps keep me motivated 😀

Good review, nice edits 👌 Always buy the green, you won't get enough protection with yellow if you are using them with back pack blowers. Not much difference in the price between yellow and green
@MrGardener184 жыл бұрын
thanks, mate. I agree these aren,t man enought for backpack blowers I use my 3m x5a ear defenders 37db!!! they do the job.

I started with peltor II ear defenders, they work good for pretty much every job. But if you use petrol power tools whole the day, day in day out youre better off with peltor III. Noise is tiring in the long term. I tried peltor I that came with my helmet but its just not good enough when working with 115db chainsaws. Changed it immediately for peltor III. The only downside is you can hardly hear people talking to you, and look funny but its better than having tinnitus. 80db is 8 hours safe work without hearing damage, 83db is 4, 86db is 2 etc. Every 3db halves the time.

I had the same experience. With the peltor 1 just not strong enough for petrol tools so I switched to the peltor x5a which are just amazing.

Great video. Made me laugh when you said they aren’t much bigger than a large pair of ears. 🤣

Hello. First of all, thank you for the review. I bought Peltor Optime 3 for use while studying. However, it was very uncomfortable for me and I regretted it. Do you think I can use it comfortably while studying if I buy Optime 1?
@MrGardener182 жыл бұрын
personally I find them very comfortable they are so light and don't grip your heads to tight. So I'm happy to wear them for long periods. I hope they work for you.
