I recommend only producing the one material in each set ... For scavenger it is the linnen, Drednaught is Secret order, wander is Wolf hide, and Steel Cavalry it is the tendon. These items are rare from fragments or chests. For the other items you will get enough dragonite fragments and boxes (once you complete zone comm) to make the rest.

pickaxe and cape give you chances to get double rewards on monsters and hat lowers stamina on monsters, so its a big help to make those 3 first to boost getting materials quicker. it can give up to 60% chance of double rewards and -30% of stamina consumption if gold. that means you will be able to get double the amount of materials from monsters.

with few alliance members we tested materials from Wighs - we attacked 5x lvl14, 5x lvl15 - everyone got better (higher tier materials) from lvl 14 Wighs...but it could be just luck

Scavenger shoes give a buff the buff to attacking Marauders feed and Gathering material speed. The saves on stamina when fighting Marauders a rallying giants. One of the most important pieces of scavenger

There is also a chance to buy chests in the store for gems. And a way to gamble with your materials that gets you your rare items quicker. I haven't got my head round that yet.

I am c20, and focusing on upgrading archers to T8 first, because they get more kills in the KE, and are the easiest to get to T8. For gathering I use all cavalry 4 legions but they are still T6 since upgrading them does not improve gathering anyway. T6 are also enough to kill any monster (except g15).

Work you way up through the colours starting at green. you can disassemble the gear at a later date anyway,

Mr.GILL you can also get material in gems shop 250 gems for one green material chest, however you will not get the rare mater that require long time to produce easily, even with roc normally we get 2 chest in the third box, now the trick is to have as much as you can from those materials and open then at ones in there you will get the rare material, you are awesome mr.gill and thank you very much.

yes. I used to buy chests from shop but if compare gems spent on random chests to gems spent on speeding up the materials you need. better to spend on speed ups i think?

Hi Mr Gill, i have couple of questions regarding Equipments and whether to switch them between gathering and attacking: 1. If my legion is gathering iron (for e.g.) do i need to equip it with the Pickaxe? or can i leave the slot blank 2. When gathering we use the Scavenger equipment, but when attacking mauraders do we switch to "Steel Cavalry" before sending the legions to attack? 3. When do switch to full "steel cavalry" equipments only when we attach other castles or even with mauaraders and giants?

1. Do full set scavenger so that you don't have to reset every time you send out a unit. 2. No, scavenger equipment is best for attacking marauders 3. Cavalry is for war with other players. Keep scavenger for gathering and marauders

Yes - equipment class sets are exclusive. So only one set (or a mix) at same time. So you must change depending on your task.

When you press the equip button, is it specifically added to a unit or is for all units. Every time I press equip, it sends me to a legion and I don’t see where you add it from there.

Do you know what I REALLY want to see for a RoE video? Someone actually teaching a step-by-step on how to open as many boxes as possible throughout the week, on every CoP day. I want a video like that because a lot of major players keep bragging about how easily they get 9 boxes opened as if it was an easy thing to do, and it's not. For example, on a gathering day: 1. make sure you have a gathering buff; 2. go to the world view and look for high level tiles of the resource you need the most or a food tile that it's easier to gather; 3. wait for your troops to gather for something like 6h; 4. activate a CoP buff; 5. call your troops back. And so on... but on a video, you know? Here's an idea for you, Gill... Thanks, dude!

I keep on seeing lots of major players always saying that "hitting 9 boxes is so easy" but I can barely get to 6 of those in a daily basis without spending a lot of speedups and resources that are not coming back in the same amount for opening the boxes... So I keep asking myself whether I'm doing it wrong or it's really not worthy... That's why I'd really really like to watch a step-by-step so I can follow it to get the respective rewards, you know?

@@rafabronx81 the only thing you should focus on iz zone comm on research day. Stack your courage medals(use all hero tokens to buy them) and save a lot of rss. I know it is borring but belive me after few iterations you will see a huge progress on other days. There are some small hacks for each day to squeeze few points but basically basics are the same.

For gathering, if you are already managing farm accounts, try to create one for lvl 10 tiles, these will give 24 hours gathering each - ask high level players in your province how to do it. If you're a farmer you will open min 6 chests by early morning, add 100% boost and ZoneCom research and you'll have all open easy and guaranteed every single time. Other days are harder and require planning ahead. And ZoneCom of course is crucial

Hi Mr Gill, big fan. I was wondering if you have any advice on equipment for combination legions. I know you prefer cavalry, but I've read around that having footmen in the front (top) row to defend archers in the 2nd and 3rd rows is a good strategy. So 1) is there an equipment strategy that would boost both the footmen and archers, and 2) if I combine wanderer and drednaught equipment, would I be loosing the 4-piece and 6-piece boost benefits that are gained if the entire legion is the same unit type? Really depends on what you doing? Raiding or KE or RoC. You should change setups depending on task. But yes - you lose the set piece benefits so consider that as well
