I think she showed one more time (no pun intended) how sweet and nice of a person she is. She went there expecting to do an interview and this guy keeps talking about his crush on her and that he went to her hometown and met some of the local people that even Britney knew. She seemed comfortable and cute at first. But then I’d freak out too if he spent several minutes talking about his obsession with her and trip to her hometown. I think he should have kept it professional and after the first couple of compliments, just do the interview and try to connect with her in a a spontaneous way through the interview. No surprise she was uncomfortable at the end. Also she was there for work, not to meet him. Yeah you can try to be flirty and all, but don’t expect that is the best scenario to hit on a girl. Again Britney was very sweet and professional. She showed once again her true colors

There’s a whole tv show on this. He was picked by a British tv channel, I can’t recall which one but I think it was either Sky One or Channel 4 and he was just a fan of hers selected to do this interview. They sent him to her home town to get footage and finally interview her knowing how awful he was going to be. It was cringe to watch lol.

God the first guy was soooo corny and annoying!! She doesn't want a fan, I don't think any celebs want someone who loves them bc of what the do or who they are -- like everyone else, they want to be loved for who they are inside. And I suspect really well-known celebs want that even more and don't trust anyone bc of it!! He creeped me out. I also don't think brit has ever been comfortable in her own skin, she's one of the rare stars that ISN'T outgoing & has to really force herself to be outgoing/personable off-stage & then when she's on stage it turns on automatically & it's almost like a diff. person vs. her off-stage persona. With that said, I think she would want someone who makes her feel comfortable & not flattered. Prob guys who also ignore her & act totally unimpressed by her star power.

I can see why Britney was nervous, especially with some of the things she's gone through but this poor guy just really liked her and got tongue-tied. He may well have been a lovely boyfriend but I guess Britney wanted a bit more of an interview and less of a chat/come on :)

Justin Coleman yes it's highly unlikely huge stars like her at the time would have been interested in having a drink with him. They don't have the time and have their own circle of people. But I have to agree with your comment, he did waste her time unfortunately.
