CYCLONIC RUNEKEY: try fishing next to Ze'kuls spawn point. I can confirm that it works. Got it in ~20mins. (in storm phase, had 300 fishing skill, Legion fishing pole equipped -- according to Wowhead comments your skill and equipment doesnt seem to matter)

If you farm the mobs that spawn near the entrance of the vault they respawn fast. I got a party of 5 and farmed them. Got 6 fragments in under 2 hours

It took me all day to collect 7 torrential runekey. I mainly focused on killing rares.

Just an fyi, you can fish for the turbulent rune key. It's much faster than farming the rare.

The only thing I think is off is the rotating questlines. I started it day one, it rotated on reset, so every 7 days.

I farmed the rares for the Torrential Rune Key fragments and got it within 5 hours of farming. I also got a LOT of alt friendly epic gear that I sent to my various alts. Didn't bother farming the skele mobs, as there were too many people farming the area.

Cyclone rune key also drops from fishing in the same area the rare appears in. That's how I got it

They need to change the comfy lawn chair toy so you can just stay seated. Right now it only last 2 minutes with 2 minute cooldown on the toy. It needs to be like the arathi desk toy where you can sit indefinitely. I demand to be able to loiter in Dornogal in style.

@2:10 - "Torrential Rune Key should drop pretty quick". 4+ hours of grinding. We did it as a group and it didn't help us get more but it was nice to see how often they were dropping for everyone in the group, about once per every 400-600 mobs killed. We were tracking this with the Flame-Blessed Iron that was a 1/per mob drop. I went up 4500 in the run while we were killing everything to get those fragments.

You can fish up the cyclonic. Higher drop rate than the rare has. I had less than 200 fishing skill & got it in about 20ish casts while waiting for the rare to spawn. Added bonus is there is a chest that spawns near the head of the skeleton right on the beach at spawn point. Looted it several times for 2 of the thunderous fragments. The torrential fragments are a pain point for many as the drop rate seems to be pretty low & you need to farm up 7 fragments so expect it to take a lot of grinding for that one.

It's a warband wide quest. So you can do it on multiple alts over the days.

The drop rate for Zek'al the ship breaker is insanely low. People are spamming phases in group finder and getting easy 50+ kills with no rune.

Yeah. Took me about 30 to 40 attempts to get the key myself from a combination of jumping different groups and just being around when others are doing the fight while doing other things on the Isle. Which, in comparison to what I'm hearing for others, is not that terrible of RNG in comparison to some who have already brought him down eighty times and still do not have the key.

The one that you need 7 for is random drops from all mobs in the island, couple of the other ones you get the full key but it’s a different name key. The torrential ones are a headache which is why people are hyper spawn farming mobs.

Apparently it changed from the PTR where he recorded this to live. So yes, Torrential Fragments drop now and you need 7 to form the runekey.

You have to do the weekly which involves filling a bar to 100% by killing mobs/doing quests. Once you do that, talk to a female goblin by where the rope is to go back up to the ship and you'll enter the storm. After that, you can go in and out of the storm as you wish by talking to her.

As some ppl have stated on Wowhead you can fish it up right next to Zek'ul spawn point. I stood on the fish skeleton between spawns to fish. Took me ~20mins to get it. Don't know if relevant: KhazAlgar Fishing at 300, old Legion fishing pole equipped However, other ppl state that the could fish it without max skill. Seems worth trying.

Yes. A few only spawn in certain phases or "invasions". Proper Parrot only when the pirates are up for one. 1 of the snapdragon battle pets is only in the storm phase & I don't remember what some of the others are atm. Also, there is a short questline that awards Marmaduke.

Sadly he has a rather low chance of dropping the key himself. Apparently people have found better luck fishing it out from the sea (literally) then fighting him as the key seems to have a chance of dropping from the water near his arena. The other option and one that a lot of people have taken to doing is just jumping from group finder to group finder and bringing him down repeatedly since there's no lockout on him or any of the rares for loot.

Torrentials have been severely nerfed. Get a drink and some music because it will take you a while. People are at 1000 kills to get just one.

No. The board had a different coloration in the trading post & the ship is a recolor of an old store mount. The other 2 don't have any analogues in the store or trading post.

When you're running around and see the whips of air flying to a location, if you follow them, they'll lead you to a chest. When you get close enough, it should give you a pop up ability that looks like a golden eye. If you use that ability, it will let you loot the chests. They're kind of a pain to find since they seem to be lootable by only one person at a time

I guess is "good" that it is not something we have to be competing for but at the same time, I would like some more indepth content like the withered army scenario, something that is relatively simple but can last for a while.
