I disagree. Vigil does his job as a tactician vanguard and Lessing does his job as a dreadnought guard. The only problems with Crownslayer is her RNG talent 1 and 2, and the fixed attack speed and too high attack restriction on s3. If her s3 said something like, "Attack interval increases." and "Cannot attack the same enemy within 5 seconds", she would have use in at least IS.

However, we're too lazy and don't care enough to make it better." I'm sure if her s3 released with true damage, instead of saying she's bad, the Arknights community would say, "They just put true damage on anything now huh?" This game is very closely tied to its lore. The ops that have true damage are Amiya, Kal'tsit, Młynar, Nearl the Radiant Knight, Nightmare, Skadi the Corrupting Heart, Hoederer, Weedy, and Cliffheart. The only one that doesn't really make sense here is Cliffheart (I would love to be given a lore reason as to why Cliffheart s2 does true damage). You are suggesting she do 1588 true damage with her s3. In fact, actually, she does 2 hits. You're suggesting that Crownslayer doing 3175 true damage would make her still worse than Texas the Omertosa and Kirin R. Yato. For reference, this is OVER TWICE THE DAMAGE MON3TR DOES on Kal'tsit s3. This is also TWICE the amount of damage TALULAH does. Her entire kit having this would make her better WIŠ'ADEL. I went off on a little bit of a tangent there. I apologize. However, if Crownslayer got true damage, she would be doing more damage than Talulah at about the same rate whilst being completely invincible. Please tell me you don't mean this, or just didn't do the research.

She can 1v1 elites by herself, might need to bring healer or a defender behind her. S1 is dookie, S2 is good against elites. Idk what they were thinking when designing her kit. This is one of the times when you immediately know she's bad upon reading the skill text. And they even showcased how bad she is in the stream. Accurate to her in-lore strength true, but she should've been a 5-star at most (where HG dumps most of the niche units). Making her a 6-star just amplifies the disappointment.

ngl i just feel both. I don't know demetri's role in the story so it might not be possible for him to be playable but his drip alone is enough to give me hope that he can. I hoped for zuo le, logos and ulpianus and they all got out from npc jail in a year, and were given great kits, so *surely* it can happen here too right?? I am a dead hard fan of Crownslayer, my friends cursed me each time because I kept saying she was really important for the lore and should be in the cast, I waited for years and hope since chapter 6 after she left Reunion, many years of wait for this result, I am sad and betrayed, she has no niche where she is good, she isn't popular and her being shitty won't be an argument to give her a good module or alter, I will still play with her in each of my teams but with a tears falling each time I deploy her

I suspect she's fine, actually. An Ambusher Specialist in disguise. FRD chassis means that there's more flexibility in where you put her, and she doesn't need any survivability support, because against anything but the most high damage enemies she'll do her job before she dies. S2 hitting a true AOE, and S3 having a same-target cooldown, lean her more towards large piles of enemies. For instance, she could fry the chapter 13 blood spawn. S2 being a 50% dodge and then a true AOE burst of 2500 phys damage, +23% on enemies that haven't hurt Crownslayer, that's not nothing. It's all a single hit too so it can crunch past most defense. Because her trait is a hit rate reduction, it can be used to benefit other ops. So, a defender can block something, and Crownslayer can pop in on the other side of the enemy. Now that enemy has a -50% chance to do damage, and in a few seconds it eats a big nuke of phys from Crownslayer. It's kind of hard to source things that debuff enemy attack, so I look forward to using this. S3 makes her nearly invulnerable and has crowd control, though the same target restriction prevents it from spiking damage against a single target. I think you could use it to slow swarms, but so far I expect to get more out of S2. She's not going to out-DPS Texas or Yato alter but she has interesting applications and can evaporate 8 tiles worth of enemies.

If you max her out, her S2 is gonna do a single hit of 3,175 phys to enemies that damaged her, and 3,905 to enemies that didn't. (before module). With module, the S2 hit rate reduction jumps to 62%. That's Real Numbers

The duration on s3 feels really short because the interval between every attack is 2 sec which is so much lame for executor unit. They could make it interval 1 second & cooldown for attacking same target make it like 2 second instead of 6 second

The "HG doesn't want welfare 6* to be strong" argument doesn't work. Gladiia is the best puller and an excellent laneholder, lumen is one of the best healers and can make status effects like stun and freeze a joke, silence alter can make your units immortal and CE is on par with skadi alter. The only exception to this is vigil and lessing. However, vigil can be an excellent staller against slow but hard hitting enemies and lessing is a pretty good alternative to those than don't have NTRK and can be useful against enemies with stun. I genuinely don't see any use for CS. Everything she does, the other FRDs do better. Her S3 could've been great if it had a faster aspd. Unfortunately HG put unreasonable limitations to it.

Need I remind you that Projekt Red is even better than her? Instant CC stun and only slightly lower damage than Crownslayer. Crownslayer's S2 literally has a charge up time for mediocre CC when Phantom's CC deals more damage. Red even has the only increased minimum damage in the game. Up to 43% with max module and pot which makes her useful for shave damage against extremely high defense enemies. A LAUNCH 5 STAR POWERCREEPS HER. Let. That. Sink. In. I'd even go as far as saying THRM-EX is more useful with his high damage explosion that inflicts a high fragile at max pot but that's really really pushing it. Overall. She got the curse of being a wellfare and free 6 star with abysmal skills that make her look like a year one operator. The ONLY niche I can think of is S3 and deploying her right into enemy lines since she can't take any damage at all unless her invisibility is removed which few enemies can actually do but that RNG damage and no AoE make it a pitiful skill. Maybe Mod 2 will fix her in a year.

for that kind of damage in her S3... four D32 steel is quite expensive to even consider building her... why make her attack at 2 seconds interval? why not make it 1? or even 0.5 at best? why 2 seconds? with a cost 24 DP, I'd rather use Degenbrecher or even Irene and have a much more DPS input than her and I only need to keep them alive to make their DP worth it and both of them are cheaper than Crownslayer's maximum DP requirement

But it feels like she's a "test" operator for a new kind of playstyle. Seems like the big thing here is her lack of any focus. Is she meant to be supportive or deal damage? If supportive, bump talent's 1s numbers. Should be 20 or 25 at base, not 15. Put a bit more meat on her bones, more def and/or HP. S1 should be more survivable, like boosting the dampening of talent 1 for any damage aimed at herself plus tweaked evade. Boom, alternate gravel with a small slice of damage. Now S2 is more defensively impactful with bumped talent numbers, though still likely niche skill. Shift S3, make it at least 1 blow per second and 1.5s to hit the same target. Now is a lot more decent for focused CC harass. Alternatively, this; Attack every 0.5 - 0.7 seconds, 2 second stun, same paltry damage, no restriction to hit same enemy but stunned enemy and still random. But if boss enemy/elite enemy in the range of the fog, prioritize them. Deliver attacks at a rate of 1 per second, 2s stun, 2.5 to hit the same guy again. Bam. Far more effective CC on fodder, and though the specifics of what I described could be tweaked, now you can CC big guys without hugely affecting CC on smaller guys, unless there's a ton of bigger guys, then the CC ends up focusing a lot more on them. You want damage? Mostly same deal, but better modifiers and atk. You are waiting the entire skill timer for one hit, then the redeploy timer. Those fodder croc should be getting hit with above 3k damage at least. S3 similar to support version, but the stun shouldn't be treated as important. Is a side piece so buff the modifier and horrendous rate of attacks. There you go!

Like just drop her as soon as you see the animation start and then boom said nuke has a 40+% chance of missing, 62.5% chance at m3 mod3. ...Maybe if she gets a new module in future that makes her not take up deployment slots she'd be decent cause then she'd just be a smoke bomb device but as is... Well I guess dropping her on a defenders chokepoint might help since the defender would be taking less hits from the debuffed enemies. or I could just slap an aoe op nearby to lower the pressure on the defender by killing the enemies instead...

I hate how she lacks a definite purpose. They could've given us a proper dodge + taunt fast redeploy, sort of like a gravel that doesn't tank damage rather than dodge it whilst also reducing enemies' hit%, but nooo, let's make her try to deal damage when yato alter and texalter exist, what a wonderful idea. Oh, and make her stun deliciously inconsequential, too. I was REALLY hoping for something like, "when her activate-on-deployment skill ends, press it again to instantly redeploy her for no DP cost, and refresh her skill, but only in a small area around her (like texas vanguard S2) instead of anywhere on the map. Make her pop up here and there to soak up a bit of damage, it looks cool and isn't busted. Then it's okay if she deals no damage because she isn't meant to do that: she doesn't do that as a boss or in the lore either. Just give her something unique to work with god damn it hg

Her s3 is honestly amazing, just wish the damage was a bit beefy. S2 could be good if theyd make the charge a pay off rather than just a charge. Like you can deploy in stealth (stays in stealth so long as no enemy collides with her) and she charges up but you can immediately activate her skill, but skill can fill up the bar 3 times to do a devasting explosion. S1 is s1, idk why hg just make s1 skills so general in most operators.

Thank you, I finally see a showcase that looks somewhat useful. It looks like Crownslayer is a brooding loner assassin.....who cannot function alone. A fast redeploy mizuki S1 with none of the tankiness and less range. An invisible dps who is very incompatible with buffs and probably needs slow support. She's melee so she can't even shutdown low-altitude enemies. Her best ability is the smoke that seems to stack with everything. Which requires other operators to even benefit from, and leaves her otherwise just standing there.

This is added to the list of reason of why arknight should have statistics of how much damage the operator deal and damage taken and finally heals. The fact that CS Executor have overwhelming factor to be weak. Skill 1 RNG Dodge the 20% Less Accuracy is not helping. 22% Damage Increase is fine but if the Talent 1 doesnt miss her 2nd Talent Dissappear. Skill 2 Giving her less Taunt increase the Talent Less Accuracy and the burst damage is a delay at least make it justified by giving it also a DOT. Skill 3 Not only she only Attack 1 enemy at a time it also give her a restriction of unable to attack them is a big limiting factor of her damage.
