You may have noticed there’s a space shuttle seen in the background of a lot of these images, that’s a part of the lore apparently with its own story which goes something like this: there was once a dawns children and a lunatic who, despite them being rival factions) actually became quite close friends. At some point, the lunatic tells the dawns children scientist about his view that the world is flat, the dawns children scientist strongly disagrees, they get into a huge argument about it and eventually it leads to the dawns children scientist to say “screw it here’s an old space shuttle why don’t you find out yourself” which the lunatic does gladly. The rocket takes off far to the south of the map “broken arrow” (the launch pad is visible in game take a look next time you are in broken arrow). Much later the rocket crash lands somewhere back down on earth and nomad carriers loot the wreckage, this creates the map “crater”. There’s stories like this one on the old “the garage” episodes on crossout’s official KZbin channel so if you wanna hear more of these then go ahead. The space shuttle is just a tiny bit of the stories in this game. Many questions about this game remain unanswered or are mysterious upon pausing and taking a moment to think, ever noticed the nameless tower is visible in the distance in many maps, yet the buildings around it suggest they are different towers every time? Or how all the birds on founders canyon are not only the size of a truck but also all fly in the same direction around the same canyon? Lots of mystery in this lil game about making car go boom

Few notes. In OG ru version kights are called knechts. A nod to landsknechts, medival german speaking mercenaries. And Ivy Xo how poetic it wont sound (XO is slang in community standing for crossout) could be read as "Aivee Go"(official pronounciation in russian from devs). So you can use that if xo is too mouthfull for you.

Very insteresthing video. Shame the game is changing its core from a slow strategy game for a fast paced shooter, same with increasing the grind and greed with exclusive stuff that can only be bought by the new Crosscoins... another ingame currency to squeeze more money... Regular coins cant even be traded for some of those...
