What Makes Spirit Halloween so Special?

One thing that really got me into the fandom was when on the boxes i noticed backstories for each animatronic, it gives them extra character that the other retailers dont do, i get invested in the stories behind these characters and it makes me like the animtronics alot more than other stores. (Although i oddly got kinda obessed with carnival barker)

People always ask me why I don’t include a whole lot of animatronics from other companies, and my answer will always remain the same. I connect to Spirit Halloween much more than any other retailer.. From the backstories they write for every single animatronic, to the sneak peak videos with well crafted backgrounds and hidden details to hint at the themes, to the ISE’s that are always made extremely well and bring you to whatever place they are trying to introduce you to.. I could go on for a long time. The point is, Spirit Halloween is incredibly unique and it’s special. It means everything to me as it’s the first company that got me into Halloween animatronics and it shall always remain my personal favorite. Thank you to anyone who reads this, I hope you have a wonderful day! I’m happy that this store was able to bring us together! 🖤

August of 2015. The month that made me who i was today. That was the day I got my first Animatronic, Pumpkin Guardian of the Grave. My father bought him for me, and every year, i’d always try and get something new. Flash forward to 2023, i no longer have Pumpkin Guardian, but now I decorate my yard every year, and my neighbors love my yard every year. Honestly if we hadn’t gone to that store in 2015, who knows where i’d be now. Great video! I love your uploads.

Idk if i sound nerdy but for me but my fav part of spirt halloween is the animatronics and the fact you can buy them puls its one of the few ways to see animatronics besides Chuck E. Cheese,Showbiz Pzza or a theme park like Disney

I literally got obsessed at 7 and still am, and the first year i was 6 and i remember being terrified and the reason i got obsessed was the 2018 michael myers which got me into horror movies and made me watch my favorite movie, Halloween 2018, and i absolutely love ises tbh they can make or break some animatronics and i know you didnt really talk about this but the tiktoks are literally hilarious and yeah i kinda miss sneak peaks and yeah experiment 1031 was weird and did you know that there was a podcast for it, and for fun i didnt watch any spirt stuff for 2023 til i walked into stores and i gotta admit it was worth it, Great video, hope to see more soon

2013 was my first year, Spirit Halloween really made my childhood with all the animatronics.

(Sorry for the essay but I just wanted to pitch in with my origin lol) So I used to be into claw machines / arcade games, and one day I saw a listing for this specific one near me on Craigslist (that I never got lmao), but ofc I wanted to see a vid of one, and the only one was this small claw machine KZbinr by another kid my age. That kid was Logan aka Haunt Station and shortly after I subbed, he started posting Spirit vids. It hadn’t been in my mind in a while as the only times I went was in 2008 where I vaguely remember seeing the dungeon with the peak Gemmy four, and a gallery store in 2011 which I hesitated to go in bc I was kinda scared of freakier / gore props back then even at other stores. Didn’t help that a year later I saw Buzzsaw 2012’s vid and swore to never go there again. Then there I was in 2015 age 12, entering a medium sized store out of interest with most of the kickass ISEs & lineup set up. My first prop was the hanging Plague Doctor, and I never would’ve guessed that my mom would be willing to pay for a cheaper full-on animatronic in October, Compost Corpse, and the rest is history. The 2015 theme videos still give me nostalgia goosebumps to this day.
