So yer tellin' me people who model the RGS are in a cult??! I knew it!! ...you don't want to mess with the cult!! 😁😁 You truly do have the best job on the entire planet, Ken! The backdrop mountains out of foam is simply brilliant. Convincing backdrops are too often overlooked on so many model railroads and one of my pet peeves. Some of the best scenery and detail on many layouts has been ruined by bad backdrops IMHO.

Is Blackstone still in business ? I haven't been able to obtain Blackstone stuff in years.

Blackstone is part of Soundtraxx. I think their last major release was in about 2019, IIRC. Their last locomotive project ran into resistance from the Chinese factories who weren't very interested in building it - they quoted ridiculously high prices for it. The owner put out an email about it a few years ago.

Sadly; it is my understanding that production of the high quality BLACKSTONE MR-rangem has stalled ( ceased ? ); which for the HOn3 fraternity; is certainly a major blow. What was the REASON for this drastic decision having been taken ? ? ! 😣
