I love Jonesy´s songs. Their harmonies are superb, especialy on Keeping up and Grooving. But this album is awesome too. What a pity almost nobody knows them. Regrettably unknown band which deserves much more respect and fame.

This was a great track to release as a single, and it still sounds good 40 years later. A great band that never really got anywhere. Despite many tours (UK and Germany) with bands like Atomic Rooster, Ten Years After, Wishbone Ash, The Groundhogs, etc and a residency at the Marquee Club, nothing really happened. Still, I had a lot of fun playing drums on this, their first album. Shame that this track fades out on a great guitar solo that originally lasted around 5 minutes or so. Happy memories!

I took over from James Payne as Jonesy's drummer for the second and third albums. When I joined I was given a copy of 'No Alternative' to learn the songs. Have to say I always loved James's playing on the album.
