The Season Just Started, and We're in Trouble - MLB The Show 24 Franchise Ep.2

Today we begin the MLB The Show 24 Franchise with the St. Louis Cardinals. The Cards are far from being one of the weakest teams in baseball, but they do have one of the most uncertain future. This is an experienced team and one of the oldest in the MLB. Every starting pitcher is at least 32 years old. The best two position players have over 10 years experience. The Cardinals will have to rebuild this organization regardless of their success in the near future. I'm excited to work on restoring this franchise to a championship standard that they have not seen in the last decade.

Something that’s so huge about MLB the show 24 is the prospect list being able to be sortable now. I feel like the storylines for the prospects you draft will be even more in depth!

Excited to see where this series goes. Two favorite moments from the A's series were Vladdy Jr. getting signed and Joe Michael's first big league game, so I can't wait to see some of the new prospects and some unexpected trades.

As a cardinals fan i am so pumped for this series! As a guy who watches them religiously I think Donovan should be rated higher in the show. Jordan Walker and Winn should be the clear center pieces for the future maybe throw in Nootbaar but he is older. Excited to see what you do with the squad! Faster pace for year 1 and probably 2 is the right move. I always remember the prospects that got brought like Don, Cruz, and of course Michael more than those beginning years. I do still think we should take time on certain players like in the A’s with Berlinger and Nick Gordon and rebuilding their careers

DUDE YES! This is the type of series I've been wanting for MLB the show content. I love watching the games without having someone playing as the players as I feel it's more exciting. Definitely should do a "Legends" rebuild as well. Give each roster two legend position players and one legend pitcher. Multi year simulation too. Something like how Clique Productions does his NBA videos

Since Goldschmidt is already regressing and it will only get worse from this point on, you have to think about WHEN you trade him not if. Striking the iron while it is hot or wait until the Deadline and do a bunch of deals? A lot of options now, but this team really needs an infuse of talent/prospects. I can´t wait to see the first couple of players you are scouting, should be a lot of pitchers among them, Starting and Reliving. But I guess trading Goldschmidt and Arenado should be an idea to think about and maybe you could get some decent Players in return to better the foundation for the future. And I am also onboard and speeding up the first season, we all know this team will not be really good and concentrating on the positive highlights would make for a better experience then seeing this team get clobberd.

Make sure to disable manual injuries when you begin swimming games. Players won’t get naturally injured when manual injuries are on.

Tink Hence should be the Cards best pitching prospect by a wide margin but the game doesn’t rate him very highly for some reason. One of many examples of The Show not really researching prospects at all and just throwing ratings out there.
