I'm kinda old (31) and have been listening to beatbox for about 2 years now. Naturally, I would try to imitate sounds or patterns but hadn't really tried putting them together in an arrangement until about 6 months ago. I've seen a few other beatbox tutorials but those are just for learning sounds.. This video is probably the most helpful & insightful one I've ever watched! So thank you Helium. Выразил все то о чем я так долго думал. Есть много очень топовых ребят, которых ну просто не могу слушать(azazel,b-art ещё какой-то ранень с тунелями в ушах, участвовал в гбб 2020 кажется) из-за отсутствия какой либо музыкальности. А есть ребята которых хочется переслушивать раз за разом! Один из таких это pwad, d-low, и как бы льстиво не звучало но это ты helium особенно в последние годы. Успехов в твоём деле 💪🏻

Super important video and some ideas I've also been thinking about for a while now. I thought we were getting better in this regard but the music part of beatbox is being slowly lost through a desire to be the "best". Competition undoubtedly contributes to this desire but I think ultimately it's on us as a community to just be more mindful of the listener and not the judges Also your "weak" liproll still has so much power in it because of the way you designed and practiced it, very humbling to listen to! Helium has a lot of wisdom and expertise to offer, these videos are a HIGHLY valuable resource to anyone wanting to improve
