What is the link between child JIA and adult Axial SpA? I had JIA aged 8-10 managed only by ibuprofen and now radiographic AS aged 29. Should I request more imaging than just my spine which has shown bone spur growth? My ribs have hurt every day over the last 7 years and my left knee is hurting where my ligament is at the back.

Hi, unfortunately we don't have any stats on how many people with JIA go on to develop axial SpA. I'd recommend discussing this with your rheumatologist, as they may suggest other imaging would be helpful to assess these areas ~Zoë

Can degenerative changes seen at the symphysis pubis with subchondral sclerosis cause severe incontinence in a person diagnosed with positive HLAB27 diagnosis?
