Some sunscreens claim they reflect the UVA/UVB instead of absorbing, in that case they won't appear black on UV camera. A better test would be to apply sunscreens on a thin transparent sheet and see if the UV rays pass through.

The light colored sunscreams are miniral sunscream, They do not absorb, rather reflect. Thus do not show as black as chemical sunscream in the UV camera.. its just hilarious to see a youtuber with such high subs to spread misinformation.

"the derma co" sunscreen was giving proer UV protection on the camera as well as no white cast but still it is in category 2 while the more expensive ones are in category 1. Kinda confusing. Interesting thing is that (Dr. sheth, Mamaearth, The derma co) these all are from the same parent brand "Honasa Consumer Limited".

I used neutrogena sunscreen and it stinged my eyes so bad plus it made me feel like my skin was on fire My eyes turned red and watery and it was a horrible experience. I never used it again. Now, I wanna add that I am not saying that it's a good brand or not It might suit some people but not me . Neutrogena ultra light is a chemical sunscreen and it didn't suit me but I've used hybrid ones and it does suit me so please keep in mind and do your own research that which type of sunscreen suits you .

The white cast in sunscreens is because of the the titanium dioxide and zinc oxide UV filters which are white in colour by nature not because of the companies adding white colour to it a few years ago sunscreens with these filters gave ghost like white cast to people in all the countries but now because of hybrid sunscreens it is possible to reduce the white cast of these UV filters

Idk how illiterate people can come on big platform and misleads to all viewers. Uv camera just show us coverage of the sunscreen on the face.. And not the effectiveness... If u want effective sunscreen go with spf 50+++ .. With your suitable type of skin oily skin go with gel or light weight texture of sunscreen and dry skin go with cream.. Simple as that and try to get some knowledge of the skincares..

😂 one of the most fakest vids ive ever seen .. promote karalo apna product and jo sunscreen whitecast chrdti hai wahi actual me acha protection deti hai coz of iron oxide present in it which is very impt for a mineral sunscreen and all of the sunscreen u showed and so many harmful ingredients.. i understand abt whitecast but look for less whitecast and fair to medium can easily apply it ..dr. sheths mineral sunscreen is good even for darker skin tones 😊hope this helps
