In fact, our country is very supportive of Tibetan cultural development in recent years. In Tibet, you can speak Tibetan freely. Many non-material culture has also been developed, I hope that overseas Tibetans can come here to understand more.

dj Clover In America exiled Tibetans are really ignorant about their culture and country, and so westernized to the point that if they were to go to Tibet they would suffer from culture shock and would need to find the nearest McDonald's to feel at home

Tenzin Chokdup This is a living culture, it evolves as time goes by. Han Chinese have a changing culture as well, which takes in elements from other cultures. It is called modernization and globalization. We are living in the same earth village. How about you get a gala at the same scale theming Tibet culture in India.

Tenzin Chokdup You're out of touch with your own culture. So different from the McDonald's eating, Jean wearing Tibetan you're use to. They are real Tibetan from Tibet, not a uncle Sam exiled rat that speak prominently in English and live in a western country.

I am aTibetan by birth, yet lived last 57 years in Europe. Your new year show make me feel in away rather sad, because you are spoiling the authentic Tibetan music and dance with pseudo modernity. It could be much better, if not mixed up traditional and modernity. Leave the traditional dance and costume by itself, and create new contemporary dance and music so that one can make a choice to appreciate. You seem to like very quick movement dances, which looses beauty of dance. I like much better new year show from Amdo and Kham.

Dickey Kalsang I'm not saying the Wü-Zang Losar is perfect, but do you even have one in Europe? There are a lot of Tibetan in India (Ladags, Dränjong, Spiti, etc.), do you have one in India? We have three. We can guarantee that every Tibetan in China has something to enjoy, let aside the quality, every year every Losar. There's really no point to to blame something you don't have. Maybe the uploader simply shouldn't upload it to KZbin: in previous years nobody upload losar gala to KZbin and there was no problem.

dickey kalsang society will change in time, it call modernize. why stuck in old time forever? today tibetan in china are more rich, happy and try to catch up with the modern world and still keep the tradition.

Time changes, life changes. A living culture should be able to evolve on its own.

Dickey Kalsang European and American developed countries people enjoy modern life, but in order to protect against other countries in the name of the old cultural people's pursuit of modern life, as if their wisdom will always be superior. Please rest assured that the Chinese people have the wisdom and confidence to let the people living in this land pursue modern life while protecting the traditional culture of all ethnic groups so as to make it more appreciated by the world

Dickey Kalsang You are an overseas Tibetan-origin rubbish! Enjoy your own refugee life in Western countries, and please stop your bullshit over modern Tibet now!
