Jovita, it's great to see indian brands step it up with the shade range ,but honestly there is a long way to go . International brands like Maybelline and L'oreal have been coming out with much better shade ranges at affordable prices even in India .So let's hope that indian brands would try and get with the others in the future!

Hey Jovita! Can you please make a video on how to match/apply foundation when your face is darker than your neck and chest? This has been my concern for about a year now. For example, Maybelline superstay foundation in 128 matches my neck and chest but looks too light for my face. My face became darker than my body for some reason. It does match me when I apply it but I don't want my foundation to look obvious like I'm wearing makeup. Please help!!

For reasons unknown, this foundation does not look good on your skin, it looks patchy and you look sweaty, the foundation (first one) was too dark, given the fact that you have clear skin and most of the users out there do not. Also mixing the two foundations that we do not know about can be risky.

Try to mix 5 drop light shade foundation + 3 drop dark shade foundation+1 pinch turmeric+2 drop green tea oil and pls try ,, the best best shade will be found . This measurement is for me , change the measurement as per ur skin color.. this wont make ur skin oily, sweat reduces, green tea and turmeric gives you a pimple free face . I tried huda foundation(cashew color) + loreal foundation ( dark shade 320) bought by mistake 🙂

Lakme never worked for me.. wen I go out in sun with tat foundation... I get super pigmentation.. my face gets super tanned... this problem is just not with me.. but many girls complain of the same thing..

@@supriyamishra4384 it honestly could be the biotique sunscreen, I was using it for the last 2 weeks in strong sun (without any makeup) and I got very bad pigmentation and sunburn which never happens with my neutrogena one. I googled and found a consumer report that tested various sunscreens in India and spf in biotique was found to be much lower than what was listed, almost negligible.

Finally some good shades for dusky skintones. Would like to test these, but I always have this problem of small bumps appearing after few days of using any face products of lakme, be it cc cream, sunscreen, moisturizer etc. Dont know why.

You could be allergic to the fragrance. It's important to do a thorough double cleanse at night and use exfoliators twice a week to prevent the bumps.

OMG, naming a shade "chestnut" does not make it a deep shade - unless it oxidizes 2 or 3 shades darker? What does it say that I am able to find my shade in the middle of most current non-drugstore foundation offerings, but it looks like I'd only match one of the last four shades in this range? I'm a medium "fair skinned" (according to my aunties) Indian American with a strong yellow undertone - a couple shades lighter than Jovita. The shade range on Amazon almost looks like K-beauty: 3/4 fair and 1/4 medium-dark. Are they afraid that women aren't going to buy their real shade, so they're offering a bunch of 'aspirational' shades?

This is a great range keeping in mind the darker shades but this range is absolutely useless to me cuz none of the shades are light enough for me. Either they are too dark or too yellow for me. I feel their foundation turns ashy or ghostly after sometime. Not a fan.
